I was wondering if anybody can help out a new investor with a stock I should go with, I have been reading a few threads. So far the only stock that I see lots of you are talking is MOTG, after reading all of this I'm tempted to buy some shares on it. Do you guys think I should ? Thanks for any help or information about this.

My advice (although somewhat hypocritical) is to ask yourself if you think you should buy it.
By reading through the thread for MOTG, you'll probably have a wide array of opinions off of which to judge your own decision on whether or not to buy into it or not.
As a beginner, I'd first recommend for you to read up a bit on stock behaviors having to do with these highly volatile penny stocks (assuming you haven't already done a fair ammount of research into trading). After you've read up a bit, learn some about chart reading from stockcharts.com, and then in due time, you'll be ready to be confident in your own choices for whether or not to buy into a stock, and you won't have to rely on other person's opinions and perspectives.

Honestly, I know nothing about MOTG, and have yet to read the thread, so I have no valuable information for you on that particular stock.
But my best advice is to read as much as you can, and don't make any decision until you can really tell yourself why you're going to buy into it, and be able to rationalize it to yourself. Otherwise, you won't know how to react when it rises (you won't have any clue of when you'd be comfortable selling) and you won't know what to do if it falls (you won't know if you should bail or stay patient).

Anyways, good luck to you.
Sorry about kinda dancing around your question, but I'm still relatively new, myself, and I just want to help as much as I can so that beginners mistakes can be limited as much as possible.
Take care.

most here are traders, not "investors," just FYI. Very few issues in pennyland worth holding; a few, rare ones, but not many.

read some books (lottsa folks like Toni Turner's stuff) and papertrade first, before committing any capital. There's also good research material here: check the homepage.

Good luck

ps: when peeps show up giving you picks? IGNORE 'EM, lol--till you've studied up a bit...

Freddy79...

Agreed with BuyTex...until you have "faith" in a poster don't buy what they say to buy...do your own DD...DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THE HYPE on ANY THREAD!!!!

Also...look how long a thread may be...REALLY long ones MIGHT not really be going any where...that's why they are so long...there are some that are quite long that are good stocks...so that rule doesn't work for all threads...but...you get what I mean...if it is long..READ the whole thread...try to see if anyone mentions the PPS...has the price changed?

Good luck to you...people on this board are pretty good about helping...so don't be afraid to ask questions...

You'll know when you are ready to take the plunge. Why? Because it will be when you, yourself can decide the right price to enter and the right price to exit.

What I mean about exit isn't that you will know exactly where the top is. It means that you will have decided the amount of profit you want. Amount of profit is a personal decision. Many look for 100% or above. Others are satisifed with 25% or above. Like I said it's personal. BuyTex is one of the good guys on this board. He always gives solid advice. There is some very good educational threads on this board find them and read them.

My advice at this point is don't trade yet. If you need to ask others about a stock before you trade/invest you aren't ready. Believe me. It has taken me 3 months to recover from jumping in too soon. I should have spent the time neccessary to read all the educational threads first and paper traded so as to get the hang of things first. Take it slow and remember if you miss one today there will always be another one tommorrow. Patience is the KEY.

Good Luck To You
Wally
