I am new to this arena and have beed doing a lot of studying to try to learn what is necessary to be successful. I opened my Scottrade account with $2500 and have turned that into $3700 by flipping AIX, ORCL, MGEN, PXIT, STTK, and LFWK. Some I wish I hadn't left (in particular STTK)...

Anyway, I would like some advice on my current holdings. I feel like I have slowly been moving away from flipping and am now tied up in some areas that may be of a more longterm nature. I thoroughly believe in doing your own DD, but at the same time I think there is much to be said for listening to those who are further along to the place you want to be.

With that being said, I am currently in for the following:

408,000: RSHN
17,500: MSSI
215,000: CORR

I would like to hear what the veterans think of my current allocations. Am I on target?

Thanks for the help!

I am not nearly as "veteraned" as others. But I think that you will be "told" to never "invest" in a penny...they are truly "unpredictable"...I have seen awesome news released about a stock...and it will go down?!

I am not sure "where you got in at" with these...but RSHN at it's current level (.0065-.0075)..will go much higher...how high..who knows...
Corr..it's current level (.0008-.0011)...higher...I'm in both of these...and holding both for at least .03..maybe higher....we will see as we get there...

You will need to decide the time frame that you are willing to wait...and the chance that you are willing to take, to hold and hold and it never go any where...maybe even down...

You have said that you have been flipping...if you have "flipped" and taken your original investments back...then I would let them ride...they are free shares...If you haven't taken your original investment back...do so...ALWAYS protect your Capital...consider it more of a needed tool than your computor...with out that ...you can do nothing...

ALWAYS PROTECT YOUR CAPITAL...good luck!

I should have clarified those things. Thanks!

My average on RSHN is .0052, with Corr at .0015 and MSIS at .0359.

It is also improtant that I note that this $2500 is a bit of an experiment. It is a replenishable amount of money. I don't want to lose it, but it would not be the end of the world if it were to occur.

I have spent years playing BJ and Poker at a semi-professional level and have always wanted to participate in the trading of stocks. I know my recent $1300 "win" is nothing in the long run; my main concern is playing smart.

What levels would you recommend for someone with $2500? I was affraid I was going too big with ORCL and AIX.

Thank you very much for your time and guidance!
