Hello all. I am a self admitted neophyte when it comes to this so please be gentle [Smile] . I am with a company that I have roughly 2600 shares of options (already vested) and will be leaving soon. I am wondering how I find out who the Market Maker for my company is - does anyone know how I go about finding this information?

I am trying to do a simultaneous buy/sell and was told the best place to do that is with a Market Maker.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

if its a publicly traded company you need to open a brokerage account. doens't matter who the MM is. you can't make transactions directly with a MM. the sales need to be reported by your borkerage on the 1009-b. you should check with your company. many companies have a specific brokerage that holds the options for you.
