Hello all. I'll try to make this short and sweet.

I had an Agent a while back who had me sign some Rights Transfer papers. In exchange, I was supposed to recieve 45% of the stock in a Florida company called "World Peace Productions" (See DOS info image below)

After I signed the Life Story Rights papers in 1992, some weird stuff happened while I was living in New York City, and I forgot all about the papers. By the time I moved back to South Florida and remembered the papers I signed, my Agent, Robert Fenton, couldn't be found. And the entertainment attorney whose office held the papers throughout those years, Cara Ebert Cameron (aka: Betsy Cameron) is also difficult to talk to. In fact, she didnn't even ACKNOWLEDGE the papers as being what I KNOW they are, when she wrote me a letter in 1997. Then I went to talk to her in her office a few months later, and for some reason, I can't remember a damn thing we talked about. Today, 2004, she no longer works out of the office @ the 2929 address in the image below, although her law firm is still huge.

Anyway, here's my question. Is there any way of being able to tell from the image below, whether or not the company dissolved in 1995 due to it having a "zero" net worth? Or could it just as easily have dissolved because the Robert Fenton WANTED it to?

If it DID possibly have worth, how would I find my stocks? Where did they go?

I don't have the money to track down SEC filings and such, or travel to Talahassee, FL to get answers.

Also, I never actually recieved any papers in the mail, showing that the stocks were issued to me. But, as I briefly mentioned above, some weird stuff happened while I was in New York City, and my mail could have been tampered with.

Thank you in advance,

Chip

If anyone is curious, here's the most important page of the Life Story Rights Transfer papers I signed. The weirdest thing is, I signed this in 1992. And my Agent wanted the Artistic Rights of the portion of my life from "my time of birth through September 24th, 1997," five years into the future. The Rights to tell part of a story that hadn't even HAPPENED yet. Those five years DID end up being interesting... to say the least.

Moderator,
All residential addresses above and below are outdated. Cara Ebert Cameron's address is of a well known media company and law firm.

My signature has evolved at least twice in the last 12 years since I signed that. But thanks for the suggestion.

And for what it's worth, I've got bigger problems in my life than someone stealing my identity. That's why I'm here asking questions that real life people should be answering for me. (As opposed to internet people)

hmmmm, sorry, but a QUICKEN/YAHOO search indicates the company is not publicly traded...
i'm no lawyer, but:

contact the Fla Corp Commission
and

ask them if the assets of world peace productions were assigned to anybody.....

if not, then there is no ownership of the general assignment of rights....?????

if they did assign the assets to someone, ask them who, and start over...
this doesn't have anything to do with those ufo's that showed up on the mars rovers pix does it??LOL
pentagrams in the eyes of hurricanes? pretty interesting stuff.....
i would be a little worried about not remembering conversations with lawyers tho....

that would be funny....
if he is OUR Bob, then this is one heck of a neat elaborate joke.....cuz i googled him up..
anyway this "Bob Fenton" lives in Mich, not Fla...so i doubt it's him...LOL

he publishes romance novels under the nom de plum of Julia Fenton and they are available at Barnes and Nobull

and for all of you aspiring writers out there, he will "read" your book and give you an opinion for only $350... maybe even be your agent, that's why i thought he might be your guy signedmylifeaway...er chipimeaned...

Not the guy. This guy is hiding. All of the Life Story Rights of all family members and close friends were "bought up" or swindled so the truth could never be told about our court case. Look up "Theresa Jackson" (my mom) who was wrongly convicted of forcing my sister to dance in topless bars. 1987 was the trial. AKA: "Teen Stripper Trial"

Thanks for the info glassman. That's more than I've gotten so far.

Another thing I'm concerned about is if those Rights could have been "transferred or set over" to another company or person after I sgned the papers and while World Peace Productions still existed... which might mean I don't have my Rights if they can be signed away as "a piece of property" like a car's pink slip. He could have even transferred them to another company of his own, if they have that "property" aspect.

What would REALLY help is those company reports from 1992, 93, 94... and 95 if there IS one. Where do I get this? How much?

Thanks,

Chip

I can't find a DAMN thing on Florida Corporation Commision online. I even tried Florida State Corporation Commision. It's like such an agency doesn't exist. Got a link?

Thanks assman... I mean, GLASSman
(Sienfeld joke

I'll give the two most important date events, which helps to understand what I'm looking for...

9/92 I signed the papers and supposedly got 45% of the company's stock. Company got my Life Story Rights, "to use for any and all artistic purposes what so ever"

8/95 The company "Dissolved," although I still don't know if it was because of zero worth, or something that Bob Fenton did to MAKE it dissolve. That's one of the things I'm trying to figure out.

I guess it's like a scavinger (sp?) hunt of sorts. I was hoping that by posting the image of that corporate info (first pic in this thread) someone would know the answer to the bold question.

Other than that, I was hoping that the company reports for 92, 93, 94 and/or 95 (if there WAS one for 95), might show either a transfer of my Rights to someone else or another media company, PAYMENT to use my Rights, or simply nothing out of the ordinary... so I might be able to forget about this and complete my Trilogy of books @ theholygrailrevealed.com

For what it's worth, I DO have reason to believe that a particular well known company WAS given my exclusive rights... through transfer from World Peace Productions, to use the Likeness of my Life Story for material. (Movie, music video, etc., etc.) But I'll hold off on discussing that until I figure out what happened with this company and its assets... assets that included my Life Story Rights "to use for any and all artistic purposes what so ever"

For the curious; The Holy Grail Revealed originally started as an online book I wrote in 1998 called "The Illusion : Building The Perfect Beast"

It was a story about John Lennon being assassinated in 1980, David Geffen finding out how it was done, and then Geffen using certain artists to tell a story. The first album of that theoretical David Geffen project was Don Henley's 1984 album "Building The Perfect Beast." Others were the late 80's and early 90's Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses albums.

Some of the people who had read my online book saw a striking similarity with the "Kilroy Was Here" Styx story, which I didn't think about as I wrote my book... and was pretty young when those Styx projects were going on. My book, "The Illusion," ends with the theory that Guns N' Roses was working on a top secret documentary during the "Use Your Illusion" years (true), which never worked out quite the way it was planned (theory), or didn't get FINISHED as early as planned. (also theory)

You might be able to find my old book "The Illusion" cached on the internet somewhere. But I can't even START my Holy Grail Revealed project until I see every word of those company reports from 1992-1995. Based on research I've done locally here in South Florida, it looks like I'll have to go to Tallahassee to get the answers. I think that's where this all ends.

Chip

well, i'm not a lawyer, but i BET that if you go ahead and write it all out and don't try to present it as your own life story, you will accomplish your goals, and not need to worry about the rights...the rights really are more about how the story is presented, not so much the actual story....
on the other hand, i can also see how having the rights back might be important to you ...

the guy that shot the ex-pantera guitarist this week? didn't he do it on John Lennon's death "anniversary"? things are just wrong ....

Yes, the story I already wrote one time, was done as "fiction." But it's really hard to explain why I need to track down that company information before I continue with ANY other projects.

I knew the Pantera guitarist. In the beginning of my journey when I went to New Orleans to hook up with my brother's band in 1989, we played with them and also criss-crossed cities once and a while on tours. But I haven't seen him since my brother's band (and me) moved from New Orleans to New York City in 1990.

The people who shot Lennon never got credit. So now, if there's any doubt in any intelligent minds who might think Mark David Chapman could have been "tricked" into killing John Lennon, there's no doubt.

Here's a cool pic from my first book. Someone anonymously mailed this newspaper to me in 1997 while I was working on the first draft of "The Illusion."

Thank you. I'll send a letter off first thing Monday morning.

But can anyone answer the question I keep asking? I've basically told a story in the process of trying to get that Q answered... but maybe no one knows the answer.

Is there any way of being able to tell from the image below, whether or not the company dissolved in 1995 due to it having a "zero" net worth? Or could it just as easily have dissolved because Robert Fenton WANTED it to?

I think the first couple of lines have that info, but I don't know what it means.

I wish it were fiction, but it's not.

That's funny. I was gonna post this hidden link with the full songs last night, but thought no one cared or that it would be off-topic.
SHUT UP AND DANCE!
http://theholygrailrevealed.com/bd/hidden867.htm

I had to take down the sample-mp3's because that Hurricane Isabel news story at my site got picked up at other places on the net... and it gets crazy traffic. For what it's worth, another pent shape showed up this year in the eye of Hurricane Ivan right before he slammed into Alabama.

Thanks for sharing the tracks.

Not bad ideas. The Jam Master tribute was pretty damn good. You outta do bootleg mixes. Sling a couple hundred copies out on vynyl.

Anyway, hope you get this thing sorted out.

Thank you for the compliment. Some of those songs are being played in South Florida clubs. I don't know how. I've given out over 100 copies of the CD, so I guess they made their way into the Scene some how. But I get satisfaction by simply burning and printing copies of the CD and giving it to total strangers. (Mostly women... in malls and at intersections) Music isn't really my thing otherwise.

JM-Jay Tribute; Isn't it funny how Steven Tyler ends up EVERYwhere?... when you least expect it?
I actually started that song idea with the first two Run DMC songs, and not intending to finish it with the Run DMC/Aerosmith "Walk This Way" re-make. It's like Stven Tyler is a virus or something, but a harmless one
