I am new to investing online and short term and was wondering if anyone uses the services, like Peter Leeds.com or Penny stock list? I don't have tons of time to spend researching...yet, eventually I would like to quit my day job.

I subscribe to Cabot and Hidden Gems. Hidden Gems is great put out by Motley Fools. Cabot is very good too-pretty expensive stocks based on momentum but pick some good long term stocks. -Debi

I subscribe to Peter Leeds. Not a bad service except most of stock recommendations are in the $1.50 to $5 range and most stocks I invest in are under $1. Has a lot of interesting stuff on sight, and much of it including his book you can look at free. Believe his price recently went up, I think I paid about $130 for 3 years and have made that plus a little from his picks in 1 year, but I actually have bougth very few of his picks. Do like UGNE which was a pick a month or two back. He is supposed to have 10 new stock picks under $1 sometime this month. It is a new segment that he will do apperently a couple of times a year.
