I am new to AMERITRADE and I am trying to buy pennystocks, and it is not allowing me to purshase them because of some OTC security reason about the stock being a risk. If there is anyone out there who knows a way around this please reply i would really appreciate it thank you

call ameritrade and ask them to explain it to you. Obviously you need to read a little before you jump in feet first. Learn what a limit order is and what stops and stop limits are.

could be your funds had not settled; it depends on you credited your account as to the number of days it takes to settle. You can do a wire transfer and have access to OTC in 24 hours or less.

I have an account with Ameritrade and ran across the same problems.
On the bulletin board stocks you must put in a limit order. If then you get the error message,it's regarding your account.
If you credit your account using electronic funding you will have access to listed stocks but not OTC stocks; you have to wait 3 days for funds to settle. I have used the wire transfers and it only takes 24 hours to trade OTC. My bank charges $12 for the wire.
