Rice #15 oil well in Venango County, Pennsylvania, began production on June 3, 2014. During the first 48 hours of continuous pumping, approximately 150 barrels of water was produced. Water production on startup is normal as the water used in fracking is flowing back and being recovered. As reported by our operator, typically in this area, oil begins to flow after several days of water production.

We report that the Rice #15 oil well has produced 34.8 barrels of crude oil as of 7:00 AM EDT, June 20, 2014, since oil began streaming on June 16, 2014. Rice #15 is coming on stronger with oil. Based on the last 24 hours of production, Rice #15 is producing at a 6.88 to 1 ratio of water to oil. The production of water is still above average for this area.
