Universal Detection Technology Receives Over 30 Purchase Orders for Bioterrorism Detection Kits from Security Agencies, including US Army and US Supreme Court at Gulf Coast Counter Terrorism Conference

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/25/07 -- Universal Detection Technology (http://www.udetection.com) (OTCBB: UDTT), a developer and provider of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and radiological weapons, received more than 30 orders for its Bio-Detection Kits during the recent counter terrorism conference in Sarasota, hosted by the Sarasota Sheriff's office.
UDTT marketed its counter terrorism solutions including the Company's bioterrorism detection kits, BSM-2000 (real time anthrax detector), and radiological detection systems during the conference to members of law enforcement.
"We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to provide all of these Federal, Military, State and Local counterterrorism agencies with kits capable of detecting up to five biological pathogens. The Kits were billed to the above noted security agencies through SSI as part of participation in the counterterrorism training at the Gulf Coast Terrorism Prevention Conference and are expected to be delivered to them directly from UDT within the next 30 days.

On September 25, 2007, Universal Detection Technology (the "Company") filed a Certificate of Amendment to its Articles of Incorporation (the "Amendment") with the Secretary of State of the State of California increasing its number of authorized shares of common stock from 480,000,000 to 20,000,000,000 after the Company's shareholders approved the action at a meeting of shareholders held on September 24, 2007. The shareholders also gave the Board of Directors of the Company authorization, in its discretion, to effect a 200:1 reverse stock split prior to the next annual meeting of shareholders.

uh, dude, if you don't know that increasing the A/S 42-fold and doing a R/S is bad, then you shouldn't be trading. Not on other people's advice or your own thoughts.
