KOA Joins Business Continuity Team at the Westlin Campus Friday August 17, 6:05 pm ET
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Westlin Corporation (OTC:WSTN - News) is pleased to announce that it has extended its network and services to the adjacent KOA Lake Conroe campus. With the threat of Hurricane Dean in the Gulf, additional space is needed for hosting companies deploying their Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans. In the event of activation, space is now available in the main ballroom and cottages for companies to establish temporary offices and housing for employees. The KOA campus is connected via Gigabit Ethernet fiber to the bunker which allows for private and public VLAN and/or telephony connections to any of the facilities at KOA. The KOA facility now provides a range of additional services from the bunker, including:
Managed VLAN service from any of the bunker facilities Overflow office space for disaster activations and training Large staging area for response groups Mobile recovery office connections to the Westlin network Housing and food service either via the RV pads or private cabins Large ballroom for call center applications (delivered via VoIP) The Lake Conroe/Houston North KOA site offers a wide range of amenities including 35 private cottages, 237 sites, indoor pool and hot tub, and a wide range of activities for families.
