In addition, the company implemented a one for 500 reverse stock split that will reduce the number of issued and outstanding shares from approximately 9. 5 billion to approximately 20 million shares.

The new being a new symbol, same piece of that you yourself admitted was probably going to be worthless soon.

Unless that "bombsell PR" came out, that's pretty f***ed up of you to try to trick people into thinking this is a good play after admitting yourself that it will probably be worthless soon.

Some bitter people on the boards this morning. I don't see anything wrong with starting a new thread on an old stock. I am in no way pumping this stock. If it goes, great....it's not the mortgage payment.
Just looking for some discussion.....man, chill out.

I'm glad you started this new thread. Since Scottrade wont let me out of this yet, I have the opportunity to see how bad things are.
I mean, when I step in sh!t, does it just fall off my shoe with a few strokes on the grass, or did it really squish between the cracks of my sole and is gonna require a stick and meticulous surgery to remove...while holding my breath.

The 2007 outlook for this company. (1) A new name on the same exchange ( Pink ) that’s to lure new suckers to buy this stock. (2) Diluting loyal stockholder shares back into the float, with some becoming restricted as incentive to attract new employees to the company. (3) Same fundamentals & personnel, that couldn’t get it done under the old name with no major contracts or venture capital. In a nutshell, same car engine, new car body. I asked Michael to also reduce the A/S by 500:1 his answer:
In order to reduce the authorized shares would take another shareholder meeting and the reason we don't want to do this is that we don't know how many shares we will need to meet the obligations of the convertible debentures.
I then asked about when the Conversions of the CD's would start again his answer:
As for converting by the CD holders I would suspect we will start to see them this week.

Also, for anybody who hasn't read up on the company, I suggest they look at the past three 10q's. I'm not saying this is the world's best play, but, I did believe in this company a year ago. And nothing about them has changed accept they have grown the businerss.
Ergo, if I liked them a year ago, I should like them as much now.

I sold my position today, I'm not comfortable anymore holding this stock. My first purchase goes back to august 2005. Well it hurts a bit, knowing "a good company" didn't do well for me ... I've lost with this one. Hope to recover elsewhere ...

Well, I'm down over 6k now and I have very little left to loose. So, it is what it is. I'm going to hold out for the long run.
These stocks can move around quite a bit right after an R/S so I'll see if it shakes the chart a bit.

ASI’s Innovative Sketching program to be featured on Court TV Show
In 1994, Darryl Kuehl brutally murdered a retired Idaho schoolteacher and buried him in the crawlspace of his own Sandpoint, Idaho, house. Thanks in part to Compu-Sketch, a Windows-based composite sketching program manufactured and marketed by ASI (then called Digital Descriptor Systems, Inc.), Idaho State Police were able to identify and soon apprehend their suspect.
Nearly 13 years later, Compu-Sketch will once again play a role in this case. This time it will make its appearance as the Idaho State Police retell the story of the Paul Gruber murder on Court TV’s Forensic Files, 9 p.m. on April 18.
Immediately after the murder, Kuehl took on the identity of his victim, took his car, boat and television set, and even sent birthday cards to family members, hoping they would think he was still alive. Family members soon became suspicious. Compu-Sketch was used by the Idaho State Police to generate an image of the suspect, who was arrested for the murder some 20 months later. He remains in prison on a life sentence.
The case has long drawn interest, so much so that producers decided to dedicate an episode of Forensic Files to it. Because Compu-Sketch was such an integral part of solving the case, ASI was contacted to once again use the system, which the state police no longer had available to them.
“We not only obliged the Idaho State Police in their request, we donated a copy for future use,” said Anthony Shupin, ASI CEO. “Compu-Sketch remains an innovative and effective way for criminal investigators to find their suspects.”
Known as the “sketch artist on a disk”, Compu-Sketch is computer software that contains a library of more than 40,000 artist-rendered physical features and uses pull-down menus to simply define specific features and accessories. I have to say, everybody on this post is bashing the company.
While I don't agree with the R/S or any further dilution of the shares, I do like the company. I appreciate that they are fully reporting and are quickly growing both sales volume and revenue. I also like the management team.
I'm really not sure what the problem is. However, if this stock gets lower, I may buy some more. I know you guys won't agree with this, but I'm long and strong on this one.

If they are "fully reporting" we have to talk to the TA and find out what they are doing to the structure or this thing. At a 30 million O/S it shouldn't be doing this drop.

Not only was your comment true, but it was funny. I respect your comment. In many ways, I agree.
Remember though: the Japanese have the same word for crisis and opportunity.
Could this be the perfect buy in point? Maybe the stock has dropped on irrational thinking and bearish investors. If the stock corrects itself and finds an efficiency point somewhere around .04, then there is an opportunity here to realize a 500% gain from .008.

Yup. All stocks will find their efficiency point. If they go too high they level off. If they go too low they rebound a bit. We're rebounding here.
Once the R/S was over, a lot of people jumped ship. This drove the pps down too far. Now the market's naturaly efficiency is moving the stock to the middle, to find it's efficiency point, or Beta.
This is just my read on it, but I think we could level back around .05.
