Homeland Integrated Security Systems Announces Share Retirement
Nov 30, 2006 08:31:36 (ET)
ASHEVILLE, NC, Nov 30, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HISC) announced today that it has retired more than 30 million shares of stock previously held by Tri State Title and Escrow as collateral in the original agreement to purchase a controlling interest in Evans Systems, Inc. The shares were no longer required as the original agreement was superseded by one that did not require any escrowed shares.
"This retirement of shares reinforces our strategy to reduce the number of shares that are outstanding," stated Fred Wicks, CEO and President of Homeland Integrated Security Systems. "We have in place a long-term strategy to reduce the number of shares outstanding. However, I want to emphasize that it may take considerable time to achieve this goal through our buy-back strategy," Mr. Wicks said. Mr. Wicks also reiterated that there was no immediate plan to recapitalize the company.
In another announcement, the company corrected an earlier press release on October deliveries. "We had announced deliveries of 239 Cyber Trackers in October," stated Mr. Wicks. "This number was reduced when an order for 73 Cyber Trackers in the process of being delivered was placed on hold by the customer. We still anticipate delivering these units in 60 to 90 days."

It's the float that makes a stock move ...not the A/S or the O/S...Does anyone know the current float? On 11/01/04 the float was 12,434,258...I got that off Pinksheets...Does anyone have the current number?

Thanks Ed...This stock is a watch today...If it holds .001 support it could move...Keeping a close eye out for a nice move if they're done with dilution. I've been looking for a Christmas present, maybe this one's it...

HOMELAND INTEGRATED (U-HISC) - News Release Homeland Integrated Security Systems Uses Cyber Tracker "Smart Box" Functionality on Cannon Pacific Order
2006-12-07 08:31 ET - News Release
ASHEVILLE, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/07/06
Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HISC) announced today that the Company has installed its patent pending Cyber Tracker along with an I/O controller on four street sweeping trucks in San Diego, California. This order with Cannon Pacific is their second implementation of Cyber Trackers, but the first with the increased functionality. Cannon Pacific had previously installed 18 Cyber Trackers on their fleet of street sweepers to track the location of equipment.
The I/O controller allows the Cyber Tracker to not only locate the position of the street sweeper, but can also tell management when the brushes are actually down and in use for precise billing information. "Cannon's use of telemetry devices gives us essential management information that moves us beyond just GPS tracking," according to Steve King of Cannon Pacific.
"The addition of the I/O controller to the Cyber Tracker begins a new phase in our marketing efforts. Our customers can now look beyond the Cyber Tracker as a just a tracking device to a unit that has tracking plus the ability to transmit the data from anything that can be measured or monitored electronically," stated Ian Riley, CTO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems
"This sale represents a huge step forward in the development and demonstration of the complete Cyber Tracker Technology. We are all very excited at the prospect of introducing the Cyber Tracker technology to a variety of new markets as well as expanding on our current ones," according to Fred Wicks, President and CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.
