Aztec Mining Acquisition and Corporate Update

AZTM -- Aztec Mining Corp.
Com ($0.001)

Aztec Mining Corporate Update.

INDIANAPOLIS, March 27, 2006 (AZTM)
The company is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of http://www.sportsbookandpoker.com/ and the related licenses and marketing agreements. This website and marketing agreement comes with an established player base. This provides the company with a direct revenue stream. The website was established in July 2004 and began current operations in September 2004. The company earns a fixed 80% of the rake for poker games and tournaments and 85% of net losses from sports wagers from it's players. These percentages are the highest known to the company in the industry. The website profited over $5700 in December 2005 and the company hopes to expand on that figure by adding additional players as well as the NCAA tournament, NBA playoffs and the start of the Major League Baseball should add additional revenue from the sportsbook. The company is planning an aggressive marketing campaign to promote the website. This includes sponsoring professional poker players at tournaments as well as print, radio, online and TV advertising. Aztec Mining recently sponsored Scott Neuman at the Borgata Super Satellite and would like to thank him for his promotion of the website while he was playing. The company is working on adding a casino marketing agreement as well.

The company would like to report traffic for the company's pay per click search engine searchjerk.com was up over 100% from the month of January and unique visitors were up over 30%.

The company has posted it's year end financials for the period ending 12/31/05 on pinksheets.com. The company will be positing it's first quarter financial statements on 4/15/06. It will include all revenues from from http://www.searchjerk.com/ this year as well as limited revenues from the poker website. As revenue streams are increased and cash flow from recent and planned acquisitions allow, the company intends to have audited financials completed.

SAFE HARBOR STATEMENT

This press release contains forward-looking statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), and as such, may involve risks and uncertainties. Forward-looking statements, which are based on certain assumptions and describe future plans, strategies, and expectations, are generally identifiable by the use of words such as "believe," "expect," "intend," "anticipate," "estimate," "project," or similar expressions. These forward-looking statements relate to, among other things, expectations of the business environment in which the Company operates, projections of future performance, potential future performance, perceived opportunities in the market, and statements regarding the Company's mission and vision. The Company's actual results, performance, and achievements may differ materially from the results, performance, and achievements expressed or implied in such forward-looking statements. The Pink Sheets does not require companies whose securities are quoted upon its systems to meet any listing requirements. With the exception of a few foreign issuers, the companies quoted in the Pink Sheets tend to be closely held, extremely small and/or thinly traded. Most do not meet the minimum listing requirements for trading on a national securities exchange, such as the New York Stock Exchange or the NASDAQ Stock Market. Many of these companies do not file periodic reports or audited financial statements with the SEC, making it very difficult for investors to find reliable, unbiased information about those companies. For all of these reasons, companies quoted in the Pink Sheets can be among the most risky investments. That's why you should take extra care to any company quoted exclusively in the Pink Sheets. Be aware that some broker-dealers are required by SEC Rule 15c2-11 to have some information about the issuer. Ask your broker-dealer whether it has any Rule 15c2-11 information before you invest.

The gain is on a $40 trade. A total of $244 traded in it today. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
