Norpac Technologies Announces Intended Merger With Nextdigital Corp.
Norpac Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") (OTCBB: NRPT) ("Norpac") announced today that effective November 7, 2006, it has entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger (the "Merger Agreement") for a merger with Nextdigital Corp. ("Nextdigital"), a Nevada company engaged in the provision of smart card solutions to the international marketplace. Under the terms of the Merger Agreement, Norpac will merge with Nextdigital and change its name to Nextdigital Corporation.

Under the terms of the Merger Agreement, Norpac will issue one share of Norpac's common stock in exchange for each outstanding share of common stock of Nextdigital. Nextdigital presently has 21,421,600 shares of common stock outstanding.

Closing of the Merger is subject to certain conditions, including delivery of required financial statements by Nextdigital and completion of due diligence by Norpac and Nextdigital.
