Our common stock, par value $0.15 per share, is traded over-the-counter on the NASD Bulletin Board under the symbol "MRDG". Our outstanding preferred stock, par value $0.01 per share, has no trading market and is privately held.
Miracor Diagnostics, Inc.'s goal is to provide the medical community with exceptional quality, cost-effective and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services; especially magnetic resonance imaging ("MRI"), through a network of company owned and operated facilities.
Miracor intends to deliver these imaging services tailored to the needs of the patient, physician and local health care markets. The Company will target its initial growth/expansion in the areas in which it is presently represented. This clustering strategy will bring many benefits including lower costs, management coverage and name recognition.
Miracor has been operating free-standing diagnostic imaging centers since late 1998 and now owns and operates 13 diagnostic imaging centers (California-4, Florida-3, Illinois-3, Ohio-2, Oregon-1).
All of the centers offer open MRI equipment that affords greater patient comfort especially for larger or claustrophobic patients. The open technology is actively replacing the narrow bore MRI equipment. The trend continues for movement out of hospitals to free-standing centers. All of the MRI equipment have the most recent software upgrades for enhanced state-of-the-art imaging quality.
