I posted this last night, but it got moved to another board.

On the new short interest report list, OCAI is one of the mosy heavily shorted stocks in terms of % of float, with 6.5 million of 36 million shares shorted (almost 20%) as of August 15th. With only 4.5 million shatres traded since then, and obviously a number of you guys buying shares, there's obviously more than 2 million shares short, and my guess is that it is still close to the 6.5 million, if not more. The reason that I say that is that whne the price dropped 50% this week on no news, I am thinking it was shorted heavily in order to induce panic selling to be able to buy back cheaper. It probably did scare enough people out to buy back a decent portion of the short shares, but there is still a huge short interest in this one.

As someone pointed out in my other thread, they filed for bankruptcy reorganization back in March. So I wouldn't expect this to be any kind of long term hold, but I do see the potential for a significan short squeeze, since most likely somewhere between 10-20% of the float is currently short.

I'm planning to buy at the open. Good luck to anyone else who decides to get in, and any of you still holding from this thread.

OKay, that 40,000 trade at .0825 was mine.

Hope to see some more big buys today.

Wow, I was WAY wrong on this one. I can't believe how bad this one is doing. With almost 20% of the shares shorted, if enough people held it could come back in a big way. This is down over 90% in just a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what I should do. Never seems like a good idea to average down, but is it a good idea to sell for a 60%+ loss? Maybe... Ugh.

PC,hang in thr bud! I would avg down though if u have funds. gtn this at .03 seems like great entry. can only imagine in time it'll double that.
looking at it history, it seems to have a good chance at skyrocketing out of the blue.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Typically I hate when people cry "MM Manipluation" on stocks, but here's what I've seen today on L2.

Block of ask of size 1 at .035, 80,000 shares bought at .035 and MM doesn't move. Then a trade goes through above the ask at .04 for 25,000 shares. Then a new MM jumps on the ask of .035 with a block of size 10,000. Yes, 10,000. So 80K worth of buys doesn't ake it through the ask "block" of 1,and then a block of 10,000 shows up. Then the block drops to 5,000. then a 5000 share trade goes through and the 5000 block is gone, but the 1 "block" MM is still there.

And this exludes the fact that 6.5 million shares are short in this stock, which is almost 20% of the float.

I'm now fairly convinced that this will fly soon, either once they feel like they've covered enough (even MMs can't be so greedy as to try to push it down much more can they? It's down 90% in like a month) or if enough of the buyers at these levels aren't willing to sell.

Eitehr way, i guess I'll hold for a few days more and see what happens.

I think this is a good buy at these levels.

Nice... then a little 200 share trade knocks the last MM off of .035 for about 2 minutes, then he comes back and 6000 shares are traded right away at .035 and he won't move again.

id keep ur shares in it, unless u really need the money. I'm betn that this doubles in price in less then 2 weeks. why? just a feeling and I think ur right about it cant get much lower.
seems like good support from .03 to .035.

I have an order in to sell some at .04. I put more than I'm really comfortable having in because I was confident in my short sale analysis. I guess my analysis wasn't all that good after all [Smile] I'm still going to be holding a decent amount, but right now I have more in than I am comfortable losing, which is always a bad idea, no matter how much of a "sure thing" you think something is.
