HOUSTON, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VirTra Systems, Inc. today announced it has received a contract from the United States Marine Corps for its IVR(R) immersive small arms training simulator.
The Marine Corps lease arrangement calls for an array of accessories including VirTra Systems' training weapon-conversion systems for light and heavy weaponry, patent-pending Threat-Fire(TM) belt, and customized close- quarter-battle scenarios specific to the Marine Corps. Immediate delivery has been requested.
"VirTra Systems' IVR 4G-300 simulator has been chosen to provide Marines with both basic small arms training and critical 'fourth-generation' urban warfare experience at a currently undisclosed major training facility," commented Major General Perry V. HOUSTON, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VirTra Systems, Inc. Major General Perry V. Dalby (USA-Retired), VirTra Systems' chief executive officer, today announced receipt of another IVR(R) immersive small arms training simulator order from Mexico.
The simulator order included a specially modified IVR HD-300 small arms training simulator, well outfitted with accessories such as training weapon- conversion kits for handguns, shotguns, and M-16 long-rifles, support for baton training, a scenario authoring suite, and Spanish-language software support. Near-term delivery has been requested.
"We are pleased that Lonexi, our Mexican distributor, continues to win immersive small arms simulator business for VirTra Systems," commented Michael Kitchen, VirTra Systems' executive vice-president. "This is one of the larger systems we have sold to Mexico, which is slated for near-term installation at an undisclosed federal training facility.
"Sales activity has picked up in Mexico, and I expect to soon receive more IVR orders from there.
