C.E.D. Entertainment Distribution (http://www.cedentertainment.com), an independent distributor of Music, Video, Movies and DVD with a Digital Distribution deal with Sony/Red, a division of SonyBMG, announced the street date of 1/17/2006 for three (3) new releases. The first of these comes from renowned hip-hop recording artist Knoc-Turn'al ("Return of the Hustler"). Knoc-Turn'al's first taste of the rap game was featured on Dr. Dre's multi-platinum album "The Chronic 2001," and his credits include three songs on the "Training Day" Soundtrack and a hit single and video, "The Way I Am" starring Snoop Dogg. Knoc-Turn'al's 2004 CD "With the Way I Am" went platinum, and the title track video was top 10 on MTV for quite some time in 2004.

The second release is from the Rev. Clay Evans. Many preachers begin their careers in the ministry after several years as singers. However, Reverend Evens is theologian first and foremost, and his singing is an extension of his preaching ministry.

Finally, C.E.D. also announced a release from Latin crossover artist Cesar ("World of Change"), "the next modern Santana," crossing incredible guitar with pop melodies and classical flamenco into danceable hits, love songs and heroic ballads. Cesar's album has been highly reviewed by Music Connection magazine, Guitar Player magazine and many others as the next mainstream Latin sensation following Enrique, Santana, and Gloria. I got into this last week and it tanked. I can't belive it had good volume and some substantial news, any ideas here? Wondering if I should cut my losses on this one.

I cut losses and moved on but it probably will not stay down long.

State of the Company for 3rd Quarter of 2006

2006 has been an exciting year for Hat Trick Beverage. We have made huge strides in both the development of new products and the growth of revenue. The growth has been the direct result of the success of Pumped Fitness.

The 1st quarter started with the production of Pumped Fitness 15oz in four flavors. This proved to be a daunting task. The major appeal of the product is the unique dumbbell shaped bottle. Most co-packers want absolutely nothing to do with it. All their machinery is designed for round bottles. We were able to convince a co-packer in Corona California to try it. After days of reengineering their machinery the process was successful. The product was shipped to distributors shortly after. As soon as we were convinced the packing process can be completed, we set our sights on adding flavors. We soon added Mango and Pomegranate Berry to the existing line of Lemon, Kiwi Melon, Wild Berry, and Tropical Tangerine. Pumped Fitness proved to be our "flagship" brand. Our other brands including Dos Lagos Agua Frescas and Vital V2O were successful for us in 2005 with revenues exceeding $2,000,000.00.

Quarter #2 marked the beginning of the beverage summer season for Hat Trick Beverage. We were aggressively planning ways to expand on our Pumped Fitness brand. A 30oz big dumbbell version was the obvious answer to us. We contacted our mold makers in China and put them to work on a 30oz mold. Meanwhile, sales were picking up for the 15oz version. We began making plans to ship to Texas and Utah to compliment our Southern California distribution.

Quarter #3 picked up right where quarter 2 ended. Summer was going strong and so were our sales. We were shipping product as fast as we could have it produced. This was a blessing and a curse. We had begun talks with powerful distributors on the East Coast about working with us and our brands. We were lacking adequate co packing. This has been resolved in Miami and New Jersey. Quarter 3 also marked the completion of the development of our first entrée into our Signature Series line with the advent of Martian Colony Atomic Cocktail. This is a Kiwi flavored beverage that is co marketed with the hip hop band of the same name. We received the initial order of 30oz bottles from China. They were even more impressive than we had hoped. Manufacturing was tentatively secured in Phoenix Arizona.

By the time we took a deep breath and evaluated where we were, we realized we have created the start of a beverage company we can all be proud of. Pumped Fitness 15oz was gaining strength and the 30oz was ready to hit distributors. Our older brands were on the same track as last year.

The 3rd quarter ended with Hat Trick passing a major mile stone. We surpassed the $5,000,000.00 revenue mark late in September. This is just the beginning! We have big plans for the rest of 2006 and 2007.

Quarter 4 in the beverage business is traditionally slow. Most markets are slowing down due to the change of weather. It is a time for trade shows, sales calls and development of products. We are excited about our Next Beverage Mogul promotion. The response has been huge. We are also in the process of developing a product that will be marketed to preteens and young adults called "Road Kill". Hat Trick is confident we can steal a significant piece of the market away from the juice pouch crowd. Our Road Kill product will appeal to kids but also have no sugar and plenty of vitamins to keep the "Soccer Moms" satisfied. We are targeting a $0.99 retail price for this product.

Our goal for 2007 includes acquiring major grocery and drug store chain authorization. This alone should nearly double are revenues for 2007. Road Kill is designed directly for this purpose. Pumped Fitness is also a natural fit in the grocery market. We will also need to grow our up and down the street distribution to support the growth in grocery. Together, it is a formula for success.

We are also planning do either develop a small production line in an existing facility or build a small production facility of our own. This will overcome many hassles in the development of new products and flavors. We wish to complete this in the first quarter of 2007.

In closing, I would like to say Hat Tick Beverage is strong and growing. We have developed a great team with industry pros, designers and investors. Together we should all be proud of what we have accomplished. There is no time to pat ourselves on the back however. We have allot to do. I am confident we can do it.

Welcome to my world. The world of a beverage entrepreneur. I love what I do. I admit, it is very difficult, not for the average Joe but unbelievably rewarding none the less. When I started in this business, most people called me CRAZY! Hopefully, with some inventive thinking, well thought out planning and of course luck, you to can be in my world and be called crazy too. If we pick your beverage plan, we will pay the expenses to develop the product, get it produced, get it into initial distribution and market the product. This is an offer that will be worth an estimated $250,000.00. Once the product is alive and kicking, all profits will be shared 50/50 between your new company and Hat Trick Beverage. The end goal would be to sell the brand to a larger beverage company for a lot of money. Sound good? Let's get started.

1) Submit a complete plan to info*hattrickbeverages.com that includes the type of product, packaging of the product, flavors, who the target market would be and how you feel the best way to market the product would be. 2) Be specific. Be as thorough as possible. Do your homework. Include as much information as possible.

****HINT**** Don't get caught up in the "be like Gatoraid, RedBull, Starbuck's, etc". The best way to be successful is to be unique. Be unique in any way. One thing I tell people all the time is, "if a person walks into a store and they want to buy a drink like RedBul, they will buy RedBull."f

We will be taking submissions until the end of November. This gives you a solid 2 months to refine your plan.

After we get all the initial plans in, we will be narrowing the applicants down to 10. Once we do, we will be giving the 10 semi-finalists a chance to refine or make any changes we feel necessary. This should take until the end of the year.

The new year would start with the announcement of the 3 finalists. These finalists will be brought to a location (perhaps Las Vegas) where we can all get to know each other. The 3 finalists will be given the chance to address the panel personally and try to convince us that their product would be the next big thing in the drink business. The winner will be announced later that evening.

The panel will be made up of the Hat Trick Advisory Board which will include myself. These are beverage pros with decades of experience. If you can win these guys over, you are good! Good Luck. I look forward to seeing haw inventive you all are.
