Normally, companies that release PRs the day before and finish the trading day at the HOD, gap in the morning. Also, premarket PRs normally create a gap at open. There are no programs that I know of that can find gappers, but I could be wrong

Why you you want to find gappers if they already gapped? I am assuming they gapped up.
Try www.microcaptrade.com about $100 / month. They give you a filter (screener) both in real time or snapshot, Level 2 quotes, and some really basic charts.

Microcaptrade does. In the streaming filter chose "Gap Action" The chose the Gap Up is Greater Than 1 % relative to Close. Everything in italics can be changed to your liking.

bad joke from ol's skipdogg....
I agree Squire, you really don't want a "gapper" if it has already gapped up. The key is finding them during the last hour of trading the day before...unfortunately there isn't a future telling screener...but boy, if the magic 8-ball screener is developed, I will be all over it!

Best to find them, then get in them when they fill the gap later that day. Or if you don't fill, find another stock.
