Help!! I've been a swing trader mostly until recently. I been caught going over 4 round trips so broker is telling me I have to bring over 25K in 5 bus days or face restrictions. I have 25K+ in retirement (IRA and 401K) etc elsewhere. Does that count? Can't get a straight answer. Talk to 3 rep's and get 3 diff answer. Is there other options to me to maintain day trading capability? HELP!!! [Confused]

Swing over night...that is pretty much all you can do.

Buy at the end of the day and sell the next day.

These are new SEC rules.

repoman said that it happened to him and he told them to remove it.. and they did. he just claimed ignorance. if not maybe you can cash out and go to another broker. Good luck
