On CNBC this morning, Senator Craig Thomas was talking about the need to expand the US exploration into oil shale and protected lands in Alaska
this is great for FPPL, IMO, as it reinforces the US Gov't commitment to remove our dependence on foriegn oil by exploiting opportunuties previously off limits

True enough Jason - but the politicians are doing more than talking, they are opening up Gov't leases and big oils like CVX and Shell are front runners trying to get in. XOM was already rejected. So, I think it's more than talk. FPPL is a small fry with big leases - that's why I like it so much. - but obviously, this is a penny stock - so invest knowing the risks are high
