I had to repost the thread, because there is some info that needs to clarified, and I didn't want anyone to miss it.... I know you found this..
VNBL went ON SHO list March 6th 2006 price was .015 and jumped to .025 2 days later....
VNBL came OFF SHO list March 21st 2006 price went back to .015
Today VNBL hit the SHO list again and jumped from .014 to .022 right after the SHO list notice...
I thought SHO list wasn't a good thing, but then I saw the remark about the potential for a SHORT SQUEEZE... I need more info here...............
Then I saw this..... --------------------------------------------------- buyins . net
Vinoble, Inc. (VNBL) does not have significant operations. It intends to acquire or merge with the companies operating in the radio frequency identification and global position systems sectors, which would enable the company to offer end to end solutions for the tracking, management, and monitoring of both mobile and nonmobile assets. Vinoble is based in Malibu, California. With 52.73 million shares outstanding and an undisclosed short position, there is a failure to deliver in shares of VNBL. -----------------------------------------------
I think buyins . net has goofed up in their description of VNBL... they have operations,, they have money, they have oil...
1. Is the share count correct? 2. Undelivered shares???
Short squeeze, does that mean if the MM's can't deliver,,,we got them by the B A L L S?
I see another by OTCSTOCKEXCHANGE.COM who has the correct info pertaining to the CLOVELLY mine which is good news...
I need help,,,,,,,,,,the world need helps... And props to the real discoverer of VNBL...

Those groups must have been frontloading, maybe that's where the unusual volume came from on 4/7 ?
I'm just liked being in it BEFORE it ran.

I'm out already. I have no idea what a short squeeze really is, or if it even exists. I think it is just something "pumpers" use to entice and lure. I know of someone named pennybuster, through posts here, (who is reportedly hot, recommended it today. There was a thread here saying it was his pick). If that constitutes a group play, then so be it. I have no idea if it will go up or down tomorrow, but wish you the best, Hope it gaps a penny for ya.

I did understand that, but is there ever any real evidence or proof to substantiate it ocurrs? How do I know it is real or a pumpers fantasy? Asking an honest question here, not trying to be a wiseguy.

Your right who knows if it actually happens... i also think pumpers use it to pump...i think when you see a pps jump dramatically it's usually the MMs covering. Example USXP. JMO

Thanks rob. I don't know if I would judge it a reliable indicator, (because some says short squeeze), or rely on it to make a decision on buying a stock.

Are those the pinheads, (buyins), that wrote that blah blah blah about VNBL at the beginning of the year? They bashed another stock I like, think it is UDTA, not sure. Spend more time reading filings and less time reading muck.

I don't give info like the stuff I receive from other sources much credit to begin with, but when my Ameritrade account shows news under the stocks I own coming from these third parties, it lends a little credibility since Ameritrade allows it to go through... I should question Ameritrade as to this practice.

Hey Will,,,,,,I am actually one to scrutinize filings,,,for VNBL, I read too much:) That's why I bought in, although it was presented here a short time ago, I always go deeper than even a typical filing...
Sometimes there are hidden form d's that can screw you.

I have read myself out a couple good plays. CYSG, had a dilutive filing for 800M shares, and it almost double after the filing. LTHU 500M+ dilution, more than doubled, matter of fact. I'm beginning to think if the MM's want to run it, it will go, no matter what news, filing or outside force. That's why it is difficult for me to believe MM's get caught in a short squeeze. They have all the power with controling the B/A process, all the money they need to buy shares while forcing the PPS down. Now, wouldn't it be stupid for them to get squeezed. They have more money and wherewithal, then any trader or group of traders. If it does happen, we will never know, and them having control makes me suspects it is rare, if nonexitent.

Sadly, the SEC can make all the claims in the world that they are looking out for our best interests.... They can institute special rules for shorting, and I agree it doesn't matter...
I guess I want more normalcy:)

agreed: fight the MMs, or join them...
is there a rare afternoon they get caught off-guard? I'd like to think so...(GLCKE was one, maybe)
in fact, I've seen a couple of those rare afternoons--but guess what? in those really rare situations? the "rules" don't apply cuz the SEC protects broker/dealers, when push comes to shove. On the other hand, these few cases? very extreme, rare situations...
