Apr 18, 2006 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Patriot Scientific Corporation (PTSC), an intellectual property licensing company, announced on Monday (17 April) that it has received the distribution of its share of the proceeds from the previously disclosed Casio license transaction.
The company said that to date ithas received in excess of USD38m in distributions as its share of licensing revenues generated by its patent portfolio in slightly more than a year, including licenses with AMD, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu and Casio.
Nodetails of the licensing transaction were announced.
In addition the company said that itsproxy statement has been filed, on schedule, with the Securities and Exchange Commission and it has filed for a five-day extension to complete its filing of its 10-Q for the third quarter of 2006.
