Vision Works Media Group Inc. Updated Projections Announced For April 1st Launch of Service 3/15/2006 10:32:01 AM
OCALA, Fla., Mar 15, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Vision Works Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VWKM) and wholly owned subsidiary New Screen Television, Inc. have announced their most current projections based on current contracts. The projected revenues for four affiliates (cable companies) are expected to reach $1,400,000 monthly and Video On Demand is expected to reach $3,200,000 monthly. The four affiliates' projections are expected to reach full "expectations" in 2006.
Rick Erickson, New Screen TV's General Manager said: "Our master plan has always been to lock down satellite distribution - which we did - with top shelf organizations like Crawford Communications, Inc. and SES Americom. Then we would be able to present New Screen TV to the industry as a successful, cutting-edge pay-TV channel." He added: "New Screen TV can now sign on lucrative cable, fiber-to-the-home, and satellite distributors and affiliates - something we are doing and which is resulting in extremely rapid expansion. This explosive growth has always been a part of the plan and we are ready for it."
New Screen TV has been able to make the move to national distribution after switching from a local-only broadcaster to a nationally distributed 'basic cable' channel in Q1 of this year. The channel's signal is distributed via the SES Americom AMC-10 satellite to cable, fiber-to-the-home, and satellite systems around the U.S. New Screen TV is a 'basic channel' on these systems and is available to all subscribers.
