He is talking about quotes not L2s, there are no realtime L2s for entry level Choicetrade customers.
The quotes aren't going to kick in right away unless you are a brand new account and they are setting it up for the first time, you are going to have to give it a day or two. They email you upon completion.
You can also call their support number if you want to bug them about it, it may help if you feel its crucial today for some reason.

when you look under 'quotes', there is a box to check 'real time'... (actually I am not that thrilled anymore with ChoiceTrade...will switch back to Lowtrades soon, far better real time data for free & level II for 9.95..)

I have ChoiceTrade. Starting this week there are no real time quotes. We get free streaming live quotes for 3 months free. You have to log in & go to 'Quotes/Research', 'Streaming Quotes' and fill out the little from. You have to cancel in 3 months to avoid charges. You should get an email about it.

I'm not sure. I've been with ChoiceTrade for about 6 months. The email just stated that they are shutting off 'real time quotes' for 3 months & to sign up with ChoiceStreamer for free 3 month service. I even called them to confirm that it was correct. I'd just give them a call if you have any questions, there is an 800# and you always get to talk with a real person.
