First American Scientific Corp. Announces Delivery of First KDS Micronex to Yokohama, Japan 1/17/06
VANCOUVER, BC, Jan 17, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Brian Nichols, President of First American Scientific Corporation (OTC BB: FASC), is pleased to announce that JP Steelplantech Co. Ltd., our exclusive licensee in Japan, has purchased the first KDS Micronex System Model JS-6 pursuant to its License Agreement with FASC. The equipment, along with FASC's installation crew, arrived in Yokohama this week, and we are now preparing for its installation and commissioning.
JP Steelplantech Co. Ltd. is a well-established engineering and equipment manufacturing company owned by four major Japanese heavy industry companies: Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), Hitachi Zosen (HITZ), JFE Engineering (JFE) and Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI).
According to Brian Nichols, "This installation is the second step for JP Steelplantech in their program to introduce the KDS technology to Japan. Japan is one of three countries in Asia so far to license the KDS technology. The others are Malaysia, where two KDS systems are now in operation, and Korea, where we have received deposits on another two.
