News for 'PEKG' - (PKG Pre-Announces Premier Projects for 2006)
DENVER, Nov 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PKG Entertainment (Pink Sheets:PEKG), a talent incubator and entertainment property development company, announced today that it would be releasing its first products to market in 2006.
The first release scheduled is Violet Nine's debut album, ANY WONDER. Currently being remixed and mastered in the New York City area, the album promises to be a rock explosion.
In addition, PKG will be announcing release of the soundtrack for the new National Lampoon film, 'CATTLE CALL', also to be seen in theatres this spring.
PKG is also finalizing plans on a third release; a new album from a veteran southern rock band that recently has had excellent market reception.
Finally, PKG is negotiating with 'RusConcert' to produce a series of live performances in the United States of a very exciting classical Children's Ballet Theatre company from the former Soviet Union.
2006 will be an exciting year for PKG as it begins to bring product to market, as more information on each of these projects will be forthcoming shortly.

on their recently updated website ( http://www.peakartists.com ) they have posted that the release date of Violet Nine's album is going to be on April 4th, instead of January 13th... anyone heard any news about this?

I have not heard anything new other then what is now on their website. The PEKG website has just been updated, so it would not surprise me if there is another press release soon.It looks like they decided to release Violet Nine's album closer to the release of the National Lampoon movie soundtrack. To me,it makes sence for them to release the single and music video first, followed by the album the following month, which is what they are now doing. Pretty much all albums are released like that from what I have seen. Keep an eye on Violet Nine's website, they are in the process of updating theirs as well.
