China Direct Trading Corp. Secures Manufacturer Commitment for 20 Million Roof Tiles in 2006 1/11/2006
COOPER CITY, FL, Jan 11, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- China Direct Trading Corporation (OTC BB: CHDT) (China Direct), a U.S. trading company, today announced that its subsidiary, China Pathfinder fund, LLC (CPF) has received a supplier commitment to supply up to 20,000,000 Spanish-style interlocking tiles in 2006 from its exclusive Chinese manufacturer. The factory currently can ship 2,500,000 tiles per month and is capable of increasing production if demand dictates.
Tiles must pass local government testing standards before they can be sold and used in that locality. China Direct's tiles are 60% through this testing process with IRT, a well known testing firm in South Florida, and results are being submitted to the Dade County, Florida (Miami area) Product Control Division on an ongoing basis. The tiles have one final test. China Direct is confident that the tiles will pass local building standards based on test results to date. Upon testing approval, and subject to signing a tile distribution agreement with Dade County, CPF will begin to accept tile orders for Dade County.

We are anxious to finish the testing process so that we may begin offering our quality Chinese tiles to roofers, building supply retailers and developers in South Florida, who are currently waiting up to a year in some instances for new tile supplies.
