A city in southeastern china has a chemical plant that exploded, leaving the water contaminated.

An awful situation, but I feel that this could bring news for a company like EYII since they already have deals in place for southern China and the CEIC.

EYI INDUSTRIES INC Quick Quote: EYII 0.05 (+0.01)

Emerging Stock Report: A Very Thirsty China
12/2/2005

Dec 02, 2005 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) --
More than 360 million rural Chinese lack safe drinking water and cities are facing chronic shortages, raising serious health concerns. "Hundreds of thousands of Chinese are afflicted with various diseases from drinking water that contains too much fluorine, arsenic, sodium sulfate or bitter salt," said Wang Shucheng, minister of water resources. Drinking water with high arsenic levels can lead to cancer.

The Emerging Stock Report is covering EYI Industries Inc. (OTCBB:EYII) up 15% today. EYI Industries Inc., through their subsidiary Essentially Yours Industries, Inc., markets products that promote health and well-being.

Recently, EYI launched a consumer product that removes arsenic and other contaminates to a negligible level from drinking water. The portable water filtration product's name is Code Blue(tm) and is exclusively provided to EYI. Code Blue works like a sponge. The patented Code Blue filter pellets work like magnetic sponges to pull the Arsenic, Chlorine, Nitrates, Mercury and every other poison out of drinking water. The company has recently started promoting this product in China.

EYI also sells dietary supplements and personal care products. A large portion of sales are from CALORAD(t), a liquid protein supplement that has brought weight loss benefits to customers. More than six million bottles of CALORAD(r) have been sold since EYI was founded in 1995. The companies newest product, PROSOTEINE(r), is experiencing similar success to CALORAD(r).

The problem lies in China's unchecked economic growth, which has led to severe water pollution and imbalances in the ecosystem. Data collected from 345 sections of 175 mainstream rivers showed only about 47 percent of the water was drinkable. A survey of water quality of 52 lakes across the country conducted at the same time showed water in half of them was heavily polluted and 35 percent of ground water was undrinkable due to pollution.

Dear EYI Investors,

EYI Industries (EYII – OTC:BB), (http://www.stopdrinkingpoison.com /) in conjunction with AGORA Investor Relations, is pleased to present EYI investors with this latest corporate update. Within this corporate update for EYI, we will be giving you an in-depth look at the following topics:

• Contaminated Water in China
• What is Arsenic?
• Health Effects

EYI Industries Inc., through their subsidiary Essentially Yours Industries, Inc. (EYI), markets products that promote health and well-being. Recently, EYI launched a consumer product that removes Arsenic and other contaminates to a negligible level from drinking water. The portable water filtration product's name is Code Blue™ and is exclusively provided to EYI. In addition, EYI sells dietary supplements and personal care products. A large portion of their sales are from CALORAD®, a liquid protein supplement that has brought weight loss benefits to their customers. More than six million bottles of CALORAD® have been sold since EYI was founded in 1995. Their newest product, PROSOTEINE, is experiencing similar success to CALORAD® and bringing their customers the benefits of a natural Energy drink.

CONTAMINATED WATER IN CHINA:

Over half of the population of China consumes water that fails to meet minimum quality standards, and China has several times the rate of liver and gastric cancers as India, according to a new study by the World Resources Institute.

In the last 40 years China has transformed itself from a rural economy to an industrial giant with a significant presence in the world economy. This rapid transformation has fuelled economic growth that easily outpaces that of most developing countries. China's rapid economic development has exerted a significant toll on its natural resource base, particularly water resources. Inadequate investments in basic water supply and treatment infrastructure have resulted in widespread water pollution. In China today approximately 700 million people--over half the population--consume drinking water contaminated with levels of arsenic, nitrates, animal and human waste that do not meet minimum drinking water quality standards.

A study says it will cost billions of dollars for cities in China to upgrade their water treatment systems to meet tougher new standards. China's new drinking water standards, launched in June, increase the number of forbidden water pollutants from 35 to 101.

Some 700 million people are drinking unsafe or harmful water because more than 70 percent of China's rivers and lakes are polluted

China aims to bring the quality of tap water up to par with European drinking water standards in the next couple of years.

WHAT IS ARSENIC?

Arsenic poisoning is more often thought of as a topic for a mystery novel, but it is a grim part of our global reality. All across the world there are over one hundred million people slowly being poisoned by their only available water source. Most recent and devastating problems with contaminated well water were identified in India. Arsenic tainted water can be found in as far reaching places as Thailand, Japan, Australia, The United Kingdom, Inner Mongolia, Hungary, Chile, China, Argentina, Taiwan, Ghana, Mexico, Philippines, New Zealand, and Canada. This is not only a problem for distant lands, contaminated water occurs in the United States as well, in areas such as California, Washington, and Oregon.

Arsenic is a naturally occurring element in the earth's crust. Pure arsenic is a gray-colored metal, but is rare in the environment. Arsenic is usually found combined with one or more other elements such as oxygen, chlorine, and sulfur. In combination, such arsenic is referred to as inorganic arsenic. Arsenic combined with carbon and hydrogen is referred to as organic arsenic. The organic forms are usually less toxic than the inorganic forms.

HEALTH EFFECTS

Large doses of inorganic arsenic can cause death. Arsenic is a known poison and a known carcinogen that has been shown to cause skin and lung cancer. It also may damage a developing fetus and should be handled as a potential teratogenic agent (causing developmental malformations), as some arsenic compounds are known teratogens.

Oral exposure to inorganic arsenic can cause digestive tract pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased production of red and white blood cells, abnormal heart function, blood vessel damage, liver and/or kidney injury, and impaired nerve function, causing a ''pins and needles'' effect in the feet and hands. Oral exposure to inorganic arsenic can also cause a pattern of skin abnormalities, including the appearance of dark and light spots on the skin, and small ''corns'' on the palms, soles, and trunk, which may ultimately progress to skin cancer. In addition, arsenic ingestion is reported to increase the risk of cancer inside the body, especially in the liver, bladder, kidney, and lung.

Skin contact with arsenic can cause burning, itching and a rash. Breathing arsenic can irritate the nose and throat; eye contact can cause red, watery eyes and irritation. Long-term exposure can cause an ulcer or hole in the ''bone'' dividing the inner nose, hoarseness, and sore eyes.

CONCLUSION

EYI has recently entered into an agreement for the sale of an undisclosed number of Patented Code Blue(TM) Water Filtration Systems over a 2-year period in China. China's large rural population and poor infrastructure in those outlying regions have created a huge demand for the Code Blue(TM) system which will facilitate the removal of harmful toxins from water, making it safe for human consumption.

Thanks, Tex.

Looking for a nice, solid climb back up into the .09+ range on this one.

Resistance at .04 is spreading a little thinner to build a base.
