Rumors afloat. Melissa Rivers promoting new product. QVC? We'll see what develops. Haven't had news in over 2 months. Looks like a good bottom play.

I have been in this one for awhile, there was very little activity for fairly long periods and now in the last week a change for the good. Different pattern but no real news. This usually means good things, we will see. Seems like good company, one of the few company's I feel okay about staying in for longer periods of time.

Billy Martin's Boutique on TV Guide Channel Nov 10, 2005 11:22:00 AM NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/10/05 -- Billy Martin's USA, Inc. (OTC: BLYM), the 27-year-old American brand and boutique known for its apparel products with a "western flair" -- and a favorite shopping destination for some of Country Music's top stars -- was recently chosen as a setting for a video segment starring Joan and Melissa Rivers.
The video vignette, filmed in the company's mid-town Manhattan boutique, will air this week on the TV Guide Channel as part of a promotion highlighting Joan and Melissa's upcoming Red Carpet coverage of the 34th Annual Country Music Awards show, to be broadcast live from Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005.
Traditionally, the CMA telecast is one of the highest rated TV awards specials of the year, behind only the Academy Awards and in a virtual tie with the Grammy Awards in ratings.
The Billy Martin's segment shows Joan and Melissa shopping for some of the latest western lifestyle fashions and accessories, including a signature pair of cowboy boots for Melissa.
According to Doug Newton, who founded the western brand in 1978, the Rivers' visit to the shop was a "homecoming for the popular mother-daughter team who are known for their trademark Red Carpet interviews, humor, fashion commentary and celebrity watching.
"The homecoming part," Newton said, "is because when Melissa was a youngster growing up in NYC, she bought her very first pair of cowboy boots from Billy Martin's.
"Not many people know it, but Melissa went on to become a highly accomplished, competitive equestrian rider in her own right, having begun her riding career at age 6 or 7. Must have been the boots," Newton said.
As mother and daughter departed the store, loaded down with shopping bags, Joan asked Melissa if she paid for all the goods: "No Mom, I didn't pay. Didn't you pay?" "No, keep walking," Joan said as they quickly exited the store.

Well, this was one rumor that became fact. Other rumors include selling Billy Martin products on QVC and share retirement. Oh, don't forget about the possible NASCAR deal that was PR'd earlier this year. Good buy down here for sure. Volume has been lacking, but will not last forever.
