World Golf League Completes the Filming of the WGL Million Dollar Shootout
Monday October 24, 8:29 am ET

ORLANDO, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 24, 2005 -- The World Golf League, Inc. (OTC BB:WGFL.OB - News) announced today that it has completed the filming of the WGL Million Dollar Shootout (MDSO) reality television series over five days last week at the fabulous 2,300-acre Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida. Host John O'Hurley joined five 4-player teams, who competed over five days for a shot at the One Million Dollar grand prize. The competition began on Monday when 22 players competed in a skills challenge that was judged by MDSO team captains and PGA Star Fred Funk, LPGA rookie Bernadette Luse and the Big Breaks' Don Donatello. Team captains then drafted their teams and two players were eliminated. The teams began play on Tuesday playing a scramble format for stableford points. At the end of the day each team captain eliminated a player. Wednesday's play had three players competing on each team. At the end of play the team captains eliminated another player from each team and the team with the lowest point total was eliminated. Thursday's semi-final round was contested as 4 two-player teams. At the end of Thursday's round the two teams with the highest point total moved on to Friday's final round and were joined by the previously eliminated players to play for the Million Dollars as a 4-player team. Fred Funk, Mark Calcavecchia, Don Donatello, Bernadette Luse, Carin Koch and Cristie Kerr provided lifelines for players during the week.

"I have been to the Masters and British Open and what I saw unfold on the golf course today topped anything I have ever witnessed during golf competition, PGA Tour or otherwise," said MDSO host John O'Hurley during his closing statements. "We never imagined that the MDSO would create the level of drama and excitement that unfolded over five days and the story lines which unfolded could not have been scripted by the best writers in Hollywood," said Mike Pagnano, CEO of The WGL. The Convergence Film and Television production was flawless, with over 30 cameras capturing over 500 hours of material. Players and celebrities alike agreed on one thing in common, that the MDSO was an incredible event that they will not soon forget. In fact, Carin Koch and Cristie Kerr stated that they felt more pressure hitting player lifeline shots then they ever felt during LPGA Tour events. The MDSO is scheduled to air on the PAX Television Network at 7PM EST/PST and 6PM CST/MST beginning January 23, 2006, and continue for seven weeks.

The WGL produces the WGL Million Dollar Shootout through its wholly owned subsidiary, WGL Entertainment.
