That black line is the Trend Line itself... the ADX. The green and red are ADI, positive and negative factors affecting the ADX.

ADI Green over Red crossover at 20 headed north, with ADX bellying out in the vicinity, is what you look for. I will imeedialtey enter a stock with this taking place, assuming I am looking to enter it.
