Pinnacle Developments Inc. Announces Agreement for the Acquisition of a Wood Processing Facility, Inventory, Rolling Stock, and a Timber Tenure
BELLINGHAM, Wash., Aug 19, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Pinnacle Developments Inc. (Pink Sheets:PNCV) announces an agreement for the acquisition of land, buildings, milling equipment, rolling stock, inventory and a 600,000 cubic meter timber tenure from a major financial institution by Cantech Fibre Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary. Management is pleased to report to shareholders that they have secured assets with an approximate replacement value of $4,983,000 for $558,000. Included in the agreement is a timber tenure of 60,000 m3 per year cut for 10 years; with approximate earnings of $10 to $20 per m3 Pinnacle expects to meet its earnings targets called for in the company's business plan.
The land and buildings are located in the town of Fort St. James in North-Western British Columbia, Canada. Pinnacle's agreement for purchase of these assets is the first step into the production aspect of wood remanufacturing for both hardwood and softwood fiber. Management anticipates it will take 90 days to put the milling equipment into production and shipment of cants and lumber to the market will commence 30 days after start-up.
By acquiring these assets Pinnacle will strategically position itself to take advantage of the burgeoning pine beetle epidemic, the mill in Fort St. James is located in the heart of 200,000,000 m3 of infected pine forests. The Ministry of Forests is actively working with the private sector to ensure that harvesting is done without delay to capture the value of the standing timber, to prevent large forest fires and other environmental problems.
With the acquisition of the processing and harvesting operations, Pinnacle will actively pursue additional timber tenures from the Ministry of Forests to meet growing demand for wood products from China, India, Japan and the U.S.

I think we'll see some volume once somebody nibbles at the ask. People are afraid to take a bite because of yesterday's gap and decline back to the previous day's close. But, with this news, it's only a matter of time till the buyers come on board.
Well, I spoke too soon, LOL. Now we have some volume.

Pinnacle Developments Inc. Announces its Intention to Expand Operations Into Specialty Wood Products Distribution
August 25, 2005 13:15:14 (ET)
BELLINGHAM, Wash., Aug 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Pinnacle Developments Inc. (Pink Sheets:PNCV) announces its intention to expand operations to the distribution of specialty products used by major forest products companies in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, in production and remanufacture of wood products.
The initial product will supply market demand in the regional and local market place for quality lath. A lath is a wooden strip used by wood products plants to stabilize finished products in the packaging and shipping phase of the operation. These wooden lath are placed by machine at intervals of 4 to 5 strips for every six tiers of lumber.
The product consists of imported lath manufactured from the tree species Falcata which provides a near clear lath product ideally suited for the machine placement of lath used by the forest industry. The market is currently dissatisfied with the available products and is limited in its choice of alternatives. The product Pinnacle has arranged to be distributed is of a vastly superior quality than any alternatives handled by competitors.
The initial market opportunity consists of 50% of the 13,000,000 lath consumed in British Columbia, Canada, representing potential gross sales of $650,000 per month with a 10-40% profit on sales.
