> RENO, Nev., Aug. 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ICM Telecommunications, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ICMH), in collaboration with My Medical CD, Ltd. (Pink Sheets:MYMC), today announced it will begin offering ICM debit card customers a value added product that will enable them to have their emergency medical information immediately at hand wherever they are. The company anticipates the program will generate several million dollars a year in incremental revenue in its first full year of operation.
"This will provide a unique benefit to all of our customers, and will assure, in cases of medical emergencies, that their physicians will have the most up-to-date and accurate medical information. This is critical for emergencies and routine medical procedures alike," said ICM Telecom President and CEO Doug Hamby.
"In partnership with My Medical CD, through our card distribution network we will be able to make available, on an immediate basis, a person's medical history," Hamby continued.
"Through this program, emergency medical personnel are able to view the patient's medical information and other physician generated documents. Additionally, clients can send physicians' notes, lab tests, test results and other important papers to all of their treating doctors, so each physician has the full picture of the person's medical condition," said Jim Hogan, President of My Medical CD. "We are pleased to provide this important medical service to ICM's customers."
