DENVER, Aug 08, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PKG Entertainment (Pink Sheets:PEKG), a talent incubator and entertainment property development company, announced today that it has come to an agreement to partner with Los Angeles-based Together Entertainment, LLC, on an innovative digital release and distribution platform for its musical and film entertainment properties. The first collaborative effort between the companies will be the production of the CD packaging, the execution of an international digital launch strategy on Apple's iTunes, and promotion of the new PKG rock sensation out of Boston, Violet Nine.
In conjunction with this collaboration, and under the auspices of the New Mexico Film Commission, PKG announced today that Violet Nine would be heading for Santa Fe, New Mexico, to shoot their first music video, album cover and EPK. The video will support the national release of their upcoming album, recently completed and mastered in Nashville under the direction of PKG advisor and noted rock producer, Greg Archilla.
The music video, packaging and collateral materials will be completed under the creative direction of producer/director Todd Young, President of Together Entertainment. JP Clement, Together Entertainment's CEO, will supervise the advance release and marketing of the album in digital format on iTunes and Kazaa. Using Together Entertainment's distribution network and promotional partnerships, PKG and Together Entertainment will build a consumer and industry "buzz" ensuring the album's successful brick-and-mortar release.
