Studies Show XcelPlus Permanent Engine Protection Product Also Boosts Fuel Economy 6-17.5%

SALUDA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)----Consumers who want to fight the high cost of gas this summer can turn to a product that not only increases fuel economy 6-17.5%, but also boosts horsepower significantly and permanently protects the engine itself. It's like getting an extra gallon or two of gas per tank full for free.

Government, university and military studies show that XcelPlus Permanent Engine Protection (12 fl oz for $29.95) does all that and more, like reducing noise, wear, friction, oil consumption, amp draw, idle overheating and corrosion.

The U.S. Department of Energy tested XcelPlus (PINK SHEETS: XLPI) and found a 6.38% increase in fuel economy after the unique lubricant was added to a typical car's oil crankcase. The University of Utah's test of the product showed a 17.5% increase in fuel economy, a 15.6% increase in horsepower, and a corresponding reduction in engine friction of 12.6%. Several other government, laboratory and university studies confirm the product's effectiveness.

The U.S. Army compared use of Armored Personnel Carrier fan cooling systems with and without XcelPlus gear treatment. They found that the one without XcelPlus led to almost total system failure during accelerated wear tests, while the system with XcelPlus was found to be serviceable with no indication of wear or deterioration. It was recommended that these military vehicles be run only with XcelPlus installed.

"One of the biggest problems I have selling XcelPlus is the old saying 'it sounds too good to be true'," said XcelPlus International Inc. President Billy R. Smith, "especially in light of the fact that the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) has sued many of our competitors for making false and unsubstantiated claims. We know our products work as promised and we have the data as well as anecdotal evidence to prove it, something that none of our competition can say. In fact, some oil additives actually hurt your vehicle's engine, not help it," Smith noted

Several years ago Smith drove his 1992 Honda Accord treated with his product 1,100 local miles with no oil in it. "I was challenged by a mechanic friend of mine who told me to put up or shut up, so I drained the oil. At 1,100 miles without oil it finally turned a rod bearing. After fixing it, we re-treated the engine and then would drain the oil out and drive for 300-mile intervals. At 278,000 miles we had driven the car a total of 4,700 miles without oil and it still ran fine. A friend of mine still has the car which his grandson drives, almost nine years after our first experiment," Smith said.

Unique, Proprietary Formula

The formulas used in the XcelPlus product line were invented 30 years ago by John Bishop of Houston, who developed a lubrication and metal treating concept today known as Permafused Lubrication (PfL)(TM). Based upon the premise that 95% of all mechanical failure is directly related to friction and friction-related heat, XcelPlus products reduce the amount of friction that is produced in mechanical systems by placing a tough, PfL dry-film lubricant in them.

Bishop's formulas have been marketed as Lubrilon, Slick 50(R) (1978-1984), as well as Matrix, Camtron, and several other labels which no longer contain these formulas. XcelPlus Permanent Engine Protection is the only product on the market with Bishop's formulas. The product goes in as a liquid and turns into a solid once it gets hot. First it cleans all lubricated metal parts within the engine. Then the coating process begins and forms a 1-2 micron thin coating that is permanently bonded to the metal in the engine. The coating will not bond to itself, nor will it come out with an oil change or engine flush. In addition, XcelPlus products do not contain any harmful solids such as Teflon(R), Moly, extra ZDDP, Halides, Sulfides or Extreme Pressure Additive products.

The company sells similar products for permanent protection and improved performance of engines in trucks, vans, RVs, motorcycles, aircraft, boats and PWCs, agricultural and lawn equipment, snowmobiles, military equipment and other types of gas- or diesel-powered vehicles. XcelPlus also distributes and markets a wide range of products that extend the lives and improves the overall efficiencies of transmissions, differential, power steering systems, wheel bearings, industrial bearings, cables, fan motors and industrial equipment.

Smith first used the product in his vehicle in 1992 and became sold on its effectiveness. A few years later he became a major distributor of various products using Bishop's formulas. After leaving the business for a few years, in 2001 he reunited with Bishop and his formulas by founding XcelPlus, which today generates most of its sales from its website www.xcelplus.com.

"If everyone in the U.S. used the XcelPlus Engine Treatment in their vehicles, we could reduce our current fuel consumption by 7.8 billion gallons of fuel per year, based upon the results of tests on our product by the U.S. Department of Energy," Smith said.

XcelPlus Updates Operational and Corporate Developments

SALUDA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)----XcelPlus International Inc. (PINK SHEETS:XLPI) (www.xcelplus.com) today announced updates on several operational and corporate developments on which the company has been focused for the past several months.

On February 15, 2005 the company announced that it had received a commitment for $12 million in funding. It was expected that the company would issue debt or equity to the private investor providing the funding commitment. To date negotiations for the proposed transaction have not been able to proceed due to reasons beyond the control of the company. In addition, the investor providing the commitment has informed the company that the funding commitment has been reduced to approximately $3 million to $4 million. The company will begin transaction-related negotiations with the investor when the investor informs the company that he is ready and able to proceed.

On March 30, 2005 the company announced that it had reached an agreement with SINOAUTO Industrial Company in Shenzhen, China in which SINOAUTO will serve as the exclusive distributor of the XcelPlus product line for autos throughout China. The company has made significant progress since the announcement, and currently the XcelPlus product line is being evaluated by government agencies and authorities in order to be approved for sale. The company believes that the product line will be approved for sale in China in the next few months and that revenues from China-related orders should total approximately $2 million in 2006.

On May 20, 2005 the company announced that it received its first purchase order of products for export to Thailand. Product relating to the purchase is now ready for shipment to Thailand and will be shipped once payment terms are satisfied, which is expected shortly. The purchase orders total $50,000.00. In relation to the order, the distributor has completed a 30-minute infomercial on the product's effectiveness and currently the infomercial is in the approval process with government agencies and authorities. The company expects the infomercial to be approved, and then aired once product inventory is established by the company's distributor in Thailand.

On May 27, 2005 the company announced that it will launch a new operation, XcelPlus Asia Pacific, as a joint venture in Thailand with the company's current distributor for most of Southeast Asia. The new operation will market and distribute XcelPlus products in China, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and the Philippines. XcelPlus will own 49% of the joint venture operation. The company currently has incorporated the new entity and is now finalizing other issues. The company expects to contribute approximately $500,000 to begin initial operations of the joint venture and is in the process of investigating methods to secure funds necessary for initial joint venture operations.

Commenting on these and other recent developments, XcelPlus President and Chief Executive Officer Billy R. Smith said: "We have made significant progress in the first half of this year beginning the transformation of XcelPlus International from a development-stage company to a revenue- and earnings-driven operation. Although we have had some setbacks to date this year, I believe we remain in position to generate revenues in 2006 of $5 million to $6 million. This forecast includes the assumption that the company will not receive any funding in the near term for 1) significant expansion of domestic marketing and distribution activities, and 2) initial operations of the planned joint venture in Thailand. We simply will not be able to grow as quickly as I believe we could with full funding for those two initiatives. Nonetheless, I believe we will establish solid revenue and earnings growth in the U.S. and internationally next year.

"We will continue to market our unique product line in the U.S. by utilizing effective, low-cost marketing programs to drive consumers to our website where we can capture sales. Our recent news release on fuel-savings associated with use of our Permanent Engine Protection product generated a record sales day for us in early July. Even with minimal funds expended on advertising and promotion, I believe we can generate U.S. sales in 2006 of approximately $1 million. With national advertising, I believe domestic revenues could top $10 million but we are unable to pursue such advertising at this time due to limited funds.

"In addition, even if we are unable to fund the joint venture operation in Thailand in the near future, our current distributor agreements in Thailand, China and Indonesia should generate total international revenues of approximately $4 million to $5 million in 2006. Funding the joint venture, however, would allow us to increase profitability as we would have a large ownership position in the Thailand company rather than operate as we do today with a distributor agreement, which limits our profit margin. Gross profit on international revenues are below our margins on domestic revenues, and we would benefit significantly by being in business internationally with an ownership position in this joint venture operation.

"As we enter into the second half of this year, I want to thank Arlene Smith for her diligence in her roles as secretary and treasurer of XcelPlus International; Larry Saunders, who recently joined us as chief operating officer; and our other employees Alexandra Kost, James Williams, Christian Sawyers, David Nelson, and Amanda Tucker. We all are dedicated to this company, its customers and its shareholders, and we are doing everything in our power to maximize the value of our shareholders' investments in XcelPlus International. Lastly, we want to thank all of our shareholders for their interest in and support of this company as we leave development stage and enter into the operating phase of our business plan," Smith said.

If there is an oil shortage, and I say if because most of the companies who search for oil are surpressed from finding it and further raped by this market prior to recovering it, by the billionare who hold large stakes in what is already being extracted. The Saudis and the present administration of the US have there hands so far in the cookie jar that its frightening. Let me however go back to the thought that is fed to us. "Oil Shortage"!

Is this not a product that every government in the world should endorce if there is a critical oil situation? If this product could cut consumtion by 6-16% annualy by improving the mileage of all vehicles on the planet. Wouldn't it make sence to require manufacturers to add XcelPlus to everything they send out of there factorys. Hence saving billions of gallons of gas annualy.

This company I will be watching!

Thanks
Rick

Im holding this one for long, got in when it was low. I tried the product, its really working well, in my jeep and car. Some of my friends orederd, waiting for their feedback. Though it will not go high for short term. But there is chance it will move upward for long term. And again, This company having problem for marketing (money issue), i believe that would be short term issue. IMO

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it or it is spoken and rumored by many. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason And is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it
