Grand Forks, ND - The United States Hockey League and B2 Networks today announced they have reached an agreement making B2 the broadband broadcaster for all USHL hockey over the course of the next three seasons.
Starting with the upcoming 2005-06 season, every USHL game will be available worldwide on B2 Networks for all USHL fans to view. Fans will have the option of watching the contests on a pay-per-view basis or listening to the audio feed. All USHL member teams will have direct links located on their individual team websites allowing for easy access to subscribe for a game.
"This is a very exciting day for the USHL. With the success acheived in our B2 Networks broadcast of the 2004/05 Clark Cup Finals between Cedar Rapids and Sioux City, we now are embarking upon league wide exposure of all our games and most importantly our athletes. To expose our product on a world wide basis, speaks volumes for the USHL. This enters the USHL into a whole new era," says USHL President Gino Gasparini.
Additionally, all USHL games will be available for any establishment that participates in B2's "Bar and Pub Network". This service will allow local businesses access to all events on B2-Networks, for public viewing in their establishment.
The USHL is also the first junior hockey league to join the revolutionary "Game Share" program. Through the evolving B2 Networks systems, every USHL game will be available for download immediately after each contest has concluded. Each game will be archived, allowing coaches and league officials immediate access to all USHL games played in 2005-06.
