I wanted to clarify something for you guys...
Recently,One Of Your Threads had listed MY SITE, North East Lincoln Cadillac Enthusiasts by one of your "Highly Intelligent Members"
This was perfectly ok, allbeit a bit shocked when I had hundreds of site referrals from allstocks.com I figured something was wrong.
Your member forgot to include the cases.pdf file, which you guys manage to find by looking over at freerealtime.com ...
Let's clarify a few things... and feel free to CONTINUE leaving the bad taste in my mouth from allstocks.com ....
A) the cases.pdf file IS ACTUALLY Legit... just contact the courts in California and they'll verify with the case # (Not Rocket Science) B) Just because it's a Lincoln and Cadillac Enthusiasts site, doesn't mean any personal file attachments hold any merit in regards to it's intentions. C) Use some common sense before publicly bashing a website which has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Google Crawls, along with everyone else and your Admins should have tried to diffuse the situtation a lot earlier. D) Welcome me to allstocks.com you got someone to sign up, virtually by trashing the webmasters name and site on your own. If this was strictly a way for publicity, good job. (I happen to work for the Largest ECN's in the industry, and no, not "Reuters...."

No offense, but from someone that has been in the web business for more years than I care to count I can say without any hesitation on my part that if you didnt expect to get massive hits on the root domain of that site after the pdf was posted and linked... well, you are being rather naive.
I wouldn't be upset with Allstock's or anyone here that went to the root site and found the true nature of the site. That should have been expected. I would be upset with the person that posted the pdf file on your site and then linked it on a public message board of a stock that has a fanatical following, to say the least.
The original link we were given from freerealtime did include the pdf path, but people were smart enough to question its validity and check where it was being hosted.
So essentially your statement "Your member forgot to include the cases.pdf file, which you guys manage to find by looking over at freerealtime.com ..." is completely ass backwards. We had the pdf link and went looking for more information.
Anyway, you seem a little peeved at the people here for no reason. Your perogative I guess, but I firmly feel the fault lies with the person that posted the pdf on your domain and then made that link public, not the people that followed it and wanted more answers. That's just human nature.
Good luck with your website, for what its worth, I thought it was nicely done even if I am not an enthusiast of those particular automobiles.

I appreciate your honest response, but what I don't need is members like the PermanentJuan and HitMe101, posting things such as "that site just wants to take QBID down" or "Look at that site, question it's validity"
The paranoia of some people drag down others... You know what efforts I jumped through to register at this board...? I'm sure you do. Moderation needs to be improved...
My site isn't going to be trashed over a .0021 OTCBB Stock, thats for sure.

And by the way, it's fine to check out the root domain, perfectly understandable... but if allstocks.com is a very important site, I would tend to think a mutual respect should be given... perhaps... the case.pdf file is just there, wasn't intended for public, and if you want to download it, thats also fine... my bandwidth present to you... but yes it's a Car Site ... a large Non-Profit Org Car Club at that... you don't go into a thread knocking any validity... allstocks.com seems to be, a well respected site about stocks... be sure to maintain the reasons you guys earned that respect.

i think the webmaster has taken a vacation on us tho, cuz he mentioned something about being richer than God if SIRI dipped below five...i haven't heard from him since it DID dip below 5$

No offense, but I think you have our perceptions mistaken. There were maybe three users total that "bashed" your website. No one here took them seriously as there's a lot of inane posts.
These individuals are known as "daytraders" and might even be extra accounts of long-time members on this forum. They see any negative news for their stock as bad, and thus spread disinformation to try to keep the momentum and pumping building.
On the other side is distorters, who fabricate reasons why a stock is overvalued or continually bash a crappy stock so they can get in a low price and sell at stability or on a good PR release.
Whoever provided the original link is probably a regular reader of your website. I would suggest contacting them and asking for an apology if you are upset about the bandwidth.

As far as Internet courtesy goes, if you *really* want the admin to remove the link and cause your pagerank on Google to drop, then I guess you made the right request. I doubt an admin would honor it due to your tone, however. I admin a large computer networking community forum and I know if someone told me to remove a link "or else" I'd laugh. And ironically, we've had some big names in the industry try that trick with the threat of litigation. The judges that see these kinds of cases laugh too.
I really wouldn't fret over it, though. I think everyone by now knows about the QBID lawsuit and knows that they'll both settle and QBID will move on, with Frank a little wiser for getting anxious. It was a rather stupid move on his part, but he gets excited really easy, so you can only fault him for so long.

I'm not really understanding your point in being here. the file was on your server, it was presented to us as a link. we used the link and that is that.
the file was very suspicious on your site and we needed to get to the bottom of whether or not it was a legit file. you may not understand this but there are investors that have millions of shares of this stock and many dollars invested.
we are sorry for any inconvenience that we may have caused you, but you have to take some responsibility for the content on your site.
if it was child porn it would have been the police instead of us.
if you have removed the info then that should be the end of it.
so i back up the thought that this thread should be closed and lets move on.

Not to keep dwelling, but a member here had PM'd me about getting the link removed... I cannot reply back as your Inbox is currently full... but my reply was this:
"Nahh it's ok, I was just disturbed at how quick day traders will start bashing a non-profit charity car club cuz someone sent a link about a stock ticker...
I can't have that kind of publicity for a non-profit Philanthropic organization."
