MIAMI, Feb 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Telatinos Inc. (Pink Sheets:TLTD), a Latin American IP VoIP service provider, today announced that the Company has entered into a three-year, exclusive licensing and technology transfer agreement for Telatinos subsidiary IPxes Corp to provide IPxes network services and XRF link(R) products to Cuba.
The exclusive licensing agreement enables Cuban government mandated licensor Servicio de Red to perform sales, service, engineering and maintenance of the products and services applicable under the licensing agreement in Cuba only. The exclusive licensing agreement also stipulates that the Government of Cuba may implement a proprietary firewall system for its IPxes network service and XRF link system purchases without divulging the specific modifications to Servicio de Red, IPxes or Telatinos.
The Company has received $5,000,000 for the Cuba exclusive license. The Company will also receive 6.25% of all gross orders received by the exclusive licensor for Cuba for the next three years.
IPxes is a business class, highly scalable communications service that provides Broadband data, voice and wireless service using multiple integrated T-1 lines with a layer 2 private network. Just my opinion here... but a forward split doesn't really amount to more than dilution. I don't see any advantage in more shares being out there. Nor do I see this holding it's price after the split... the company itself may have some validity or long term potential (who knows?)... BUT this seems like a poor short term play to me.

I agree. I've made good money on TLTD in the past and expect to again in the future, but buying before a split is *not* a good short term play.
Unless ... you are planning on selling off right before the split and riding the wave of buyers reading a split as something more than dilution.

If it holds anywhere close to this price is good, you can sell what you bought & be sitting on the Free shares that they gave you.M.O.

So correct my math here if I'm wrong... if it splits 6 for 5 that means 1 extra share PER 5 shares. SO that's really only a 20% increase. So you really think the value is going to hold 20% or more (even briefly) long enough for someone to sell and take advantage? That seems needlessly risky. But I guess you can never really underestimate those that see this as a good thing... I would just hate to see people get caught. Not bashing by the way... just thinking out loud. I'd love to be wrong and see oodles of people make gobs of cash. : )

Ok... so you have new symbol but 6 shares instead of 5. Does a symbol change seriously make it that much more attractive? I admit I'm pretty new to all of this in a lot of ways... so if I'm wrong someone educate me.

That news release confirms expectations on sales volume for 2005...If so, even if that price already includes the future 6/5 F/S, this stock is very very undervalued!

Today should be a green green day, I see that up to $0.3/sh today, because the market value of TLTD is approx. 25% of the $19.25 millions market sales TLTD got starting this year!

Hey... well it looks like you've got some green guys! Congrats! : )
I played it a bit before they announced the split and did ok. If the company stays true to it's word about getting off the pinks then you could have a real gem here too.
Good LUCK!

Guess I was wrong about the split... nothing wrong with that!
