(OTC: HPON) today announced that it will introduce its newly developed 1X CDMA module as well as exhibit its GSM and CDMA cell phones and accessories at the China Sourcing Fair in Shanghai, China and the Taitronics Show in Taipei, Taiwan. Hop-on's 1X CDMA module is based on the dual band/tri-mode CDMA chipset solution and can easily be integrated into a variety of applications and products. It supports both 800 MHz and 1900 MHz bands as well as AMPS and complies with IS-2000 protocol stack for voice calls, SMS, data services, including fax, GPS, with AT command set. Hop-on's module has a 100 PIN connector to provide interfaces to serve external devices such as LCD, keypad, UIM, UART, USB, GPS, etc. In addition to utilizing this module in some of Hop-on's future CDMA products, Hop-on will be offering this design to other CDMA manufacturers.
