Federal Protective Services Performs Test & Evaluation of Wolf Pack at High Profile Venues
Tuesday October 12, 4:05 pm ET

BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, Oct. 12, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sciax Corp. (Other OTC:SCXC.PK - News):

ADVERTISEMENTFederal Protective Service (FPS), Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are conducting an ongoing Test & Evaluation program based in the National Capitol Region in conjunction with their National SRT Team Leader. Following a one-day Tactical Training exercise provided by Sciax, FPS dispatched a SWAT Team with the Wolf Pack System, as previously announced, to assist with security at the recent G8 Summit in Georgia. The teams were deployed in multiple scenarios and locations and were extremely impressed with the systems' technology, durability and modularity. It allowed them to be very thorough and more efficient, while enhancing their safety. Many other agencies expressed curiosity and interest in the system.

Plans to deploy their teams and the Wolf Pack at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and Republican National Convention (RNC) were interrupted by the heightened security levels for major US banking interests. As a result, the Wolf Pack was allocated to the World Bank. For the past several months, the system has been on near constant duty performing extensive vehicle inspections at the bank in Washington, DC. Operators are impressed with the versatility and durability of the system.

During these deployments the FPS team leader has been standardizing and documenting the operating procedures used for vehicle inspections and other applications using the Wolf Pack. These ``best practices'' operating guidelines are expected to be used for future engagements of Wolf Pack in various fields of operation.

Future plans for the Wolf Pack include security for the upcoming Presidential Inauguration. Wolf Pack will be deployed, among other tools, to clear the extensive system of tunnels and crawl spaces located under Washington DC. As the Team Leader stated, ``the camera will go in every tunnel first for the safety of the officers and the thoroughness of the information gathered.''

The Wolf Pack is a highly modularized opto-electronic remote viewing system used by law enforcement and military personnel. The reconfigurable, multi-operational design of Wolf Pack makes the system ideal for many applications in physical security, drug and contraband interdiction, tactical response and protective security. Wolf Pack electronics and optical components are built to high standards of durability, allowing successful deployment in harsh conditions that would prohibit the use of many conventional imaging systems.
