Broadband Wireless International Corporation Announces Shareholder Meeting and Proxy Vote

***

Business Editors LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 2004-- Broadband Wireless International Corporation (OTCBB: BBAN) announced today as a follow up to the Form 14A filed with the Security & Exchange Commission on November 1, 2004 and pursuant to the Federal Court order dated August 28, 2004, the Proxy Vote has been mailed to shareholders of record and the Special Meeting is set for November 19, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada at 3:30 pm Pacific Standard Time. Shareholders who have not received their proxy can contact BBAN's corporate offices at (702) 314-6900. Dr. Ron Tripp, CEO, said, "For several years now Broadband and especially its shareholders, have been through rough times. When I was appointed to the Board of Directors by the Federal Receiver, I took the position with no compensation primarily to help turn around the company and bring about a positive opportunity for the shareholders. I have been working with Keith McAllister and Michael Williams because I feel they represent credibility and significant business acumen, which eventually will make Broadband a major communications company. As a result of the problems of Broadband and even leading up to this proxy vote, they have not been given the opportunity to demonstrate what they can do for this company. I feel it would be prudent and fair for the company to give them the opportunity to help Broadband." Keith McAllister, Co-Chairman, said, "Michael Williams and I have endured all the problems of Broadband from the beginning. We have worked for the betterment of the company, sometimes without compensation, while remaining focused on what we started and intend on fulfilling. Does Broadband want to be in the lumber business or the international instrument business or should we remain fast as a communications company? While we were waiting on resolution in the bankruptcy and the Federal lawsuit we have against the Paul Harris faction, we have been working and developing intellectual properties. When this matter is resolved, we will be in the position to bring those intellectual properties into Broadband, which have significant value and will launch Broadband as a major competitor in the communications world." Michael Williams, Co-Chairman said "In light of our resolve as directors of Broadband, we have recently attracted significant investors and business people who are willing and waiting to assist in the planning and launch of the future of Broadband. We have met with a friend who is an attorney that was involved in the building of Viacom from the beginning. We intend to hire him as lead counsel to legally navigate the objectives of the company. When the proxy vote is finished, we will be meeting with Sprint, AT&T and SBC to hopefully structure a joint venture for one of them to become our backbone provider. If the shareholders choose Dr. Tripp, Keith McAllister and myself as the directors, Broadband will eventually be offering Visual Communication Subscriber Lines (VCSL) to every home in the United States of America, which comes with free software called Vieware, for people to start using the World Visual Web or WV. People who purchase VCSL will type on their computer wv instead of www and will experience a whole new way of communicating on the Internet. There are several other ancillary products and services that go with VCSL and Vieware, which we will fully demonstrate and explain at the shareholders meeting on November 19, 2004." Darwin Payton, President said "With Keith McAllister, Dr. Ron Tripp and Michael Williams as the directors, I will do everything within my power and influence to make Broadband Wireless International a household name in America. As I was dedicated to Earvin "Magic" Johnson for over 25 years, I will show my loyalty to Broadband, Keith McAllister, Dr. Tripp and Michael Williams to attain the goals and objectives they have set forth. I encourage shareholders interested in the future of Broadband to come and meet me at the shareholders meeting on November 19, 2004."
