dog uses both, as you will notice with otc, there are a million stocks all moving at a nice rate, now you just have to narrow down to the winners.

good luck

Looks like u got some good feed back here. Sorry just gettin' to you. I watch filters quite a bit. I have favorites I've created over the last year. Some find fast moving trade volume at the bell. Some look for gaps. Some look for gains. Some look for gaps and gains. If you want, I'll let you look at them and copy them down so as to set yours up. With time, you can play around with them and create some of your own to your liking. I use multiple monitors, so I am able to keep everything open at all times. Even with one monitor you can still do this. Just use your cursor to shrink the individual windows. You put the arrow on the "edge" of the window and when the lil' two headed arrow appears, right click and hold down on your mouse. You can "squeeze" the window so as to fit all your tools on one page. The "Top 400" can be opened, use cursor to stretch it full width of monitor, then grab the bottom of it and squeeze it to about 3/4 of an inch wide. Then slide it up to the top of your monitor out of the way. When you want it, just maximize (lil' square between - and x top right). Put "News and Filings" on one side of monitor and "52 week Breakouts" on the other. Then open "Streaming Filters" and squeeze it to a corner to grab when needed. The "Real Time Data" platform is how I watch stocks as they play. Shows volume, trade amounts, bid, ask, most recent price paid, a list of last three months worth of news, and the column on the right shows "Every Single Transaction" as it occurs. Green arrows are buys, Red arrows are sells. Any where on the site whether it is on the News platform, the 52 week platform, anywhere......you click on a ticker symbol and the Real Time Data platform will appear on that stock. You can also access Real Time Data from top 400 by typing in symbol top center. You will notice the "tabs" along the top of "Top 400". Time, Symbo, Bid, Ask, Net Gain, and so on........click any of these tabs and the top 400 playing stocks of the day will be listed in the order of whichever tab you hit. Click "Time". It will show you stocks in order of most recent transaction n penny land. Click "Net Gain" and you can see them in order of Best Profitable Gain on the day. Play with it. Too many tools to cover in a simple note. Have any questions, look me up. Not hard to find.

Why do some trades come through as not being a buy or a sell comming up on the screen?

undecided trades...
often a trade is made not on the bid or ask it can be above bleow or in between...

when i see a few coming in above or below i use those a guide for the direction of the trading......
lately i have had to re-asses a lot of what i have learned in the past tho.....

the only thing truly constant is change....LOL
