Not trying to give you a hard time... just Friday and off work in 15 minutes!! Yahooooooo! Actually... this question has been asked many, many times... and I always follow the answers. From what I've seen written, people say E*Trade seems to be the best 'all-around' brokerage. I use E*Trade here in Canada... and I think there is better out there FOR SURE (especially in terms of direct-contact service).... but others have sworn on E*Trade for moderately low commissions, ease-of-trade, allowing you to trade pinks, OTCBB, level II if needed, reliability... Anyway... you might want to include them in your comparison. Happy Weekend! salemm.

I use Ameritrade, Not promoting it but also have no troubles either. Recommend opening Margin account. You can't use margins on pennies but you do waive the 3 day hold turn around on your money when you sell a stock within one day of purchase. $10.99 trades no matter how many shares. Got to watch out for some that charge you extra after so many shares. When trading at this level a Million shares can be easy and it would hurt if a premium has to be paid on that.

I've had some problems with E-Trade, but they are very penny friendly, naever had anything I couldn'y buy or sell with them. If you are an active trader just $9.99

I use FreeTrade mostly. Owned by Ameritrade, never have problems, first 20 trades FREE ea. month, only $3 per trade, unlimited shares. Can't beat it. They require $5K initial deposit, but after that, there is No Balance Minimum, which works for me, since I'm often UNDER $5K now. Good luck.

Ameritrade is good just $10.99 for pennies or any stocks. Also, Free trade is ran by Ameritrade and works close to the same except it is free to trade. Must have $5000.00 to open and proof you are a experienced trader to use freetrade.
