In June, eNucleus acquired the TakGroup, a provider of comprehensive Internet-enabled supply chain management tools for producers, suppliers and distributors of gasoline and diesel motor fuels, lubricants and refined products. TakGroup's supply chain network solutions include: TakNet, a customized Private ***********work (PTN) for major petroleum companies and OEMs, TakLink, an integrated platform for marketers and TakBiz, an integrated platform for utilities.
As a result of increased prices and volatility in the petroleum market the TakGroup's flexible, cost effective trading environment is increasingly important to petroleum producers, suppliers and distributors. The company recently teamed with Summit Software, a provider of accounting and inventory management software to the petroleum industry. The new partnership will provide customers with the ability to fully integrate customer records, product lists and pricing data in real time. The TakGroup's current customers include CITGO Petroleum, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Detroit Diesel and increasingly, fleets and large commercial customers have begun using the PTN.
John Paulsen, Chairman and CEO of eNucleus said, "The Company's continued profitability, for the third consecutive quarter, is a testimonial to the success of our business strategy. We continue to focus on becoming a recognized leader in application delivery and managed IT services within our key markets."
