Gamewood Delivers Full Suite of Internet Services to Subscribers
in Virginia

WaveRider Communications Inc. (OTCBB:WAVR), the leader in
non-line-of-sight wireless broadband technology and deployments,
today announced that Gamewood Inc., an Internet Service Provider
serving communities throughout south-central Virginia, has deployed
WaveRider's wireless broadband solutions to deliver high-speed
communications to three communities.

Gamewood currently serves hundreds of subscribers in Danville,
Chatham and Mariner's Landing, Virginia using WaveRider's
non-line-of-sight 900 MHz wireless broadband system. Gamewood expects
to more than double its subscriber base in these communities this
year using WaveRider's products. In Mariner's Landing, Gamewood is
working closely with a local real-estate development company to
deliver broadband access to all homes and commercial buildings in its
development projects. As Mariner's Landing expands, Gamewood expects
to increase its subscriber base in the community.
