Combat Trauma Bag 1000 Unit Test Order Scheduled for Delivery for Mid July
DEL MAR, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 30, 2004 -- Colonel Jeff Powers (USMC ret), Founder of HST, announced today that the company will commence trading under a new ticker symbol (OTC BB:HSTJ.OB - News) reflecting the formal name change of the company to Homeland Security Technology, Inc.
"Receiving the new ticker symbol will place HST as a pure play in the Homeland Security and Defense Sector. This event should open many avenues of shareholder awareness for our company on wall street as we progress in developing our business plan," commented Colonel Jeff Powers.
In additional news, the Combat Trauma Bag order for 1000 units is on schedule to be delivered in Mid-July. Members of HST's management team will be conducting quality assurance reviews in the next week to ensure compliance with HST's rigorous Q.A. standards.
"We have received several small test orders from military units and numerous commitments indicating initial demand to be around 500 units. Once the inventory has been approved on a QA basis, which is highly anticipated, our sales efforts will be accelerated and it is anticipated that we will move the first 1000 units rather quickly. Our strategy is that once the product is introduced to the military units and field reports are in, a large scale deployment of the bag is a natural progression of the military procurement cycle," commented Colonel Powers. "Additionally, our team has been very busy over the last several weeks on two main fronts: Surveillance Systems for Site Security and Special Operations Training in Urban Warfare. Our management team has had several highly productive meetings with well-established companies in this arena and we anticipate more positive developments to be publicized in the near future. We are also looking to expand our Military Technical Advisory Board and will also be issuing updates on that subject as well," concluded Colonel Powers.
