Global Platinum + Gold, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received
the preliminary assays for the material run and processed from two of our
properties over the past two weeks. A final report and a check for the
material will be given to Global upon completion of the refining process in
approximately three weeks. The results, subject to any change reported by the
refiner, are truly extraordinary. The assays indicate a net recovery of
platinum of approximately 5-6 ounces per ton.
Global will continue production on a limited scale and work up to 10 tons
per day. It is the Company's intention to configure a plant that will allow
for a 50 ton per day operation with room to expand to 100 tons per day and
more. Pro forma projected net revenue, before taxes, from a 100 ton per day
plant at 6 ounces per ton approximates $172 million per year, provided the
current price of platinum remains the same or averages $800 per ounce over the
year period. There is as of this date approximately 55 million shares issued
and outstanding.
