A few years back the CHRISTIAN COALATION started a boycott against BURGER KING, AND CHANNEL 7, Along with the boycott of 7 and B.K., they boycotted other companies who were involved in promoting nudity on channel 7. After only 5 weeks channel 7 announced that they made a mistake and changed the way the do commercials, Only after the companies pulled their advertising and the ratings dropped. I am willing to start a boycott against the studio station that airs dateline by sending letter's to their advertisers telling them about this so called story they uncovered. This story hurts all AMERICAN COMPANIES and the investor's that are backing them. A boycott moved fast against them could dause them to "DO WHAT IS RIGHT" Please follow me in this boycott to get our AMERICA stock market back on track. I will post all info as to where email's and letter's can go to advertiser's and the station themselves. Only if I have the backing of the allstocks board will I do this boycotting. ARE YOU WITH ME OR NOT? PLEASE SAY YES OR NO SO I CAN KNOW WHAT TO DO. THANKS AN AMERICAN VETERAN

are you referring to the story about naked shorting?? WHy would anybody boycott that story...that is the dumbest idea i have ever heard,,, Please explain reason and which story you are referring too.

Be careful what you wish for. I am not going to be part of any group boycott. I know what I like and don't like. People can do whatever they please, as long as it doesn't infringe on my rights. So it makes little diference to me what you were trying to do, air it or not air it.

my intentions is to boycott NBC and their advertisers by sending a message to all about the story that dateline is holding on the shorting subject. If the AMERICAN COMPANIES recieve the story how dateline is holding the story and they resd the story it will wake them up to how they themselves are losing money because of "shorting". If the big companies know that dateline has a story that could cause a change and stop the companies and shareholders from losing money, then they will pull there advertising to get them to air the shorting story. The big companies are not aware of what is going on till they are told about the situation. Who will tell them? I will send them the stories and at the same time nbc will know that the AMERICAN people are aware of them holding such an important story. A boycott againts NBC is what is needed to force them to air the shorting story.

I want to see this story aired and the AMERICAN people made aware of what is going on with "naked shorting: who's behind it and who is making the money. Nobody knows nothing untill they are told. Dateline is holding on to the story of the century. They need to let the PEOPLE know. They will not air this story unless a boycott against them (nbc) and their advertiser's is started.

You don't think AMERICAN COMPANIES know about Stockgate. It's all over the internet. Search it and you will find many stories on this issue. And if you are a trader and don't know about it, you shouldn't be trading.

Yes I am new at trading, about 6 weeks now. I did not know about this problem till 5 weeks ago after reading some info on it. It seems that no one is doing or willing to try to do something about this problem. The trading wizard closes his posts with the following: 'Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.' And all I was trying to do was to do something about this, not make everyone sore or pissed off at me. bingo 2004 started a thread about it and many posted their 2 cents, but no wants to do something about it. FORGIVE ME FOR AT LEAST TRYING.

It sounds to me, that what you want to do, is more of a petition/email campaign to the sponsors of Dateline, than an actual boycott of NBC. That is a good idea- that they be made to realize how this issue affects them as well as their consumers and shareholders, but as far as calling for a boycott against NBC and/or Dateline, that is impractical: people who watch NBC/Dateline will continue to watch- NBC's concern is not that they may lose a few thousand viewers for a few weeks. The way to get to NBC, is by PROPERLY and CAREFULLY bringing the story to the attention of NBC's advertisers, and to let those advertisers dip into their deep pockets and get their well-paid lobby and legal counsel involved. NBC would take note of a few corporate agents speaking to them on behalf of companies whom pay NBC's bills, long before they would bow in to a boycott ultimatum aimed at them by a group of disgruntled viewers and/or investors. This isn't about a local channel and a few sleazy commercials- this is also about the shakedown of corporate America, and defending corporate America is a tough sell to the public at large if it means boycotting their favorite programs. The public at large, for the most part, doesn't even understand the significance of the story in the first place. Even beyond that, so many people in the world today bitch just to have something to bitch about, that many people don't even look beyond the fact that it's just 'one more group of people bitching about someone or something else'. This is your child, sarge, but what I would do if I were you, is sit down and write a well-thought out letter, then write it again. Put it down for half the day, and then read it to your significant other. Fix what needs to be fixed, and include links to factual information (leave the speculation and emotions out except in the closing sentances). Then E-mail it to each agent of each of Dateline's sponsors (you can get these email addresses by visiting their companyies' websites. If you don't get an answer the first try, give it a few weekdays-respect the theory that they may not be hiding from you- they may just be busy. If after a week you hear nothing from them, send another one with the title 'Would appreciate an update': sometimes things get erased by accident. After that, give it a week: if you hear nothing, spam the fu__ers about once every half-hour until you get a reply.
