Ezenia!(R) Inc. Announces InfoWorkSpace Purchases by the US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM)

BURLINGTON, Mass., April 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ezenia! Inc., a leading market provider of real-time collaboration solutions for corporate and government networks and eBusiness, announced today that the US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) had recently placed a series of orders worth in excess of $2.2 Million of InfoWorkSpace software licenses and related services. The majority of licenses ordered by USJFCOM have been dedicated to certain Unified Combatant Commands as part of the Collaborative Information Environment (CIE). The CIE includes InfoWorkSpace as one of the core collaborative tools used by a team of operational planners and information command and control specialists within the Standing Joint Force Headquarters (SJFHQ) command structure. During day-to-day operations, or when a contingency requires the establishment of a joint task force, all or part of the SJFHQ team is embedded as a standing element that focuses on operational trouble spots for the Combatant Command. Specific Combatant Commands deploying InfoWorkSpace in the last six months as part of the CIE include US Pacific Command, US Southern Command, US Central Command, and the US European Command, with other Combatant Commands scheduled for deployment later on in 2004. More recently, USJFCOM has also coordinated the installation required for InfoWorkSpace to be utilized within operations in Baghdad, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. CirTran Signs Multi-Million Dollar Exclusive Manufacturing Agreement
