Maybe now the market will start to recognize the potential of this company - this contract is only for the HIV test in China. The company has many more test kits and is developing its distributor network in many more countries (see other recent PRs). IMO it is time for this stock to rock and roll. GLTA Longs.
Medical Services Signs Million Dollar Contract to Supply VScan HIV Test Kits to China March 01, 2005 06:00:00 AM ET
EDMONTON, Alberta, March 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical Services International Inc (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has signed a $25,500,000 US contract to supply the VScan HIV test kit in the People's Republic of China. Through its Shanghai facility, starting July 1, 2005, the Company will supply 3.6 million VScan test kits per year for a 3 year period. The contract will have a value of approximately $8,500,000 US per year with a total value of $25,500,000 US at the end of the 3 years. This contract is for the VScan HIV test kit only and does not take into account the revenue that will be generated in China by the other test kits ( TB, Hep B&C, Dengue Fever, and Malaria).

Well, I just bought 50k. The Ask went up, but still not showing any volume.
Could be so much action right now that they are trying to settle out all the orders, IMO.

apparantly ...this one does not show volume or t&s...and does not show current price until end of day...all it shows is bxa...cant even see level 2

i just got out...in at .0045 and out at .0049 for a quick gain...probably go much higher but the ask dropped and you cant see what is going on behind the scenes...

like i said earlier...only showing bxa...no level2 or anything..not even updated pps or volume...just went on hunch....soon as i saw one drop in b or a i sold....in at .0045 out at .0049

Medical Services International Inc. is a fully reporting issuer in the Province of Ontario and its stock trades on the NQB Pink Sheets (what is the Pink Sheets?) in the United States under the symbol MSITF. The Company is considered a foreign issuer that is why there is an F at the end of the stock symbol. The consequences of this is that trading volume is not available in real-time during the day. Instead, it is only reported after the close (usually around 6:30 pm).
There are approximately 15 Market Makers actively trading the Stock. At any point there can be up to an additional 10 Market Maker's on the BID or the ASK

Any one with access to L2 can get b/a by MM - on other boards, posters with such access often provide l2 real time b/a to those who nicely ask. Volume is not available until after the close. GLTA longs.

I carried this stock for a year and finally dumped it because the price never moves. How can they have news like this almost everyday and nothing happens. Is it all just a big fat lie?
The news on revenue never ends...china, peru, here there. But it is all outside of the US and you can not find any other source but them saying they are doing it. How can you get better info on these types?
I think like you guys and you watch it all day and have to wait until after the market closes to findout it did not do anything but go down. You have to wait until about 9 pm est to ge the actual close price.

You have to trade millions of shares to make any money with this. Mark my word when you see the price tonight it will be below the last close. Unless something has changed from anything they did all of last year.

I am just trying to find out if this is for real. They have this same kind of news everyday. I just sold my 500000 shares the other day at a loss to move it to GTEL. I keep thinking all year this news should do it, this news should do it...then nothing but a drop the following day. If you guys can prove their pr's let me know. If this is for real then it should be doing something.

George - Looks like the close yesterday was at .0049, about a 26% increase over the prior close. Guess "something must have changed from anything they did last year". If they sign more contracts like yesterday's - and get approvals for more kits (TB, Protate Cancer, Syphilus, etc.) I think we will see more 26% up (or more) days in the coming months. GLTA Longs

I think if you see where I said and drops the follwing day you will see that today. It has good moves up but they did not ever hold. ON the same kind of news. Any move up of 20+% I would sell and get back in after the next drop if you go long. You should see it back down to .039 tonight
